I had a great follow-up visit with Dr. Connelly. He reviewed my current CT scans for my fractures and then laid out my treatment plan. The staff and office were very easy to work with compared to others.

I wish I would have read Dr. Connelly's reviews before I made my appointment. As another patient stated, I too was glad to get an appointment so quickly with Connelly it became apparent to me right away that I would not be seeing him again based on his bedside manner. Upon walking into the room, he did not acknowledge my husband at all, he acted as if he did not see him (keeping in mind my husband is a baby boomer although respect is transcending) To start, he berated me for being on narcotics for a disabling neck injury. I was not there for medications; I was there for severe shoulder pain. I wanted to walk out but I need to get my shoulder evaluated and find out what happened to my shoulder. He looked at my X-rays and stated that I had a frozen shoulder and needed a Cortisol shot and physical therapy. When I scheduled my follow-up, I informed them that I did not want to see him again. I prefer to see a doctor that can leave his bias at the door and see the whole patient.

I was thrilled to get an appointment for the day after I called. Office staff was very nice. I was not happy with the fact that a Medical Assistant was directing the radiology tech on what X-rays to take, and not the doctor. So I chose to eliminate 2 of the 4. Dr. Connelly was very cold and seemed rushed. He examined my leg, told me which OTC pain relievers to take, told me to ice it and stretch the muscle. He never showed me how to stretch until I asked him to demonstrate. Maybe it’s because I’m not a surgery patient.
