List of Ma Thuzar Aung's Reviews
Overrated at one star!
She is truly the best. I currently live in Ocoee and travel a half hour to see her yet I can't think of going to another doctor.
Trying to get through to her office at any of the locations is a nightmare!! I feel like she doesn't give quality time an feel rushed each time I visit. Medical profession has changed so much.
I have been a patient for 10 years, and on the day I was to have my annual exam this month, I received a call from Dr. Aung's office saying she was only taking patients over the age of 65 now (Medicare). No longer taking commercial insurance (BCBS). I had already done my bloodwork! and talked to their office the day before - they wanted to do a virtual office visit, which was fine. Needless to say, I now have to wait 3 months to get into another Doctor. I still cannot believe how unprofessional and badly this change in their office was done. I was speechless. Just, sorry, find another doctor.
Dr Aung is Awesome. She actually listens to you.
Dr. Hung has been my primary care for several years. I can’t say enough good things about her she’s very caring doctor and very knowledgeable. She has always been very respectful and caring and listens to what I have to say. I have never been rushed out of her office and have never waited for more than 30 minutes to see her.
She is very competent if not exactly warm and friendly. The office's blood drawing was scary during a pandemic with 10 people in a crowded waiting room and no precautions taken. In addition it was a half hour wait after which my body literally refused to give blood!
She was a wonderful doctor that took care of my husband and myself for years. She is concerned, caring and will listen to all concerns and discuss options. She will try other avenues to solve problems before giving medication. She showed up at my hospital bedside one night at 11:00 pm and was quite visibly exhausted but was concerned about me. I think she was hands down, the best doctor we ever had and had we not relocated to another state, I would never have another doctor.
Treated my mom for a year and half for vertigo. Dr. Aung’s ‘treatment’ was banging on my moms head to release the crystals. She kept telling my mom ‘I know you & your body and I know what’s best’. After begging my mom to go get a head scan, turns out she has a non operative glioblastoma that are in 2 lobes of her brain. This doctor does not know you and does not know what is best for you.
She refused to take me on as a patient even after my insurance company made her my primary care doctor because I was hiv-positive she said she would take heart disease diabetes and many other kinds of patients but not an HIV patient she made me feel very bad and then she shooed me out of her office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
