List of Prasad Ancha's Reviews
I have always had a great experience with Dr. Ancha. He has always taken his time with me during my office visits and gone over his recommendations. When I had a problem with my insurance needing prior-authorization for a new medication, he was persistent with his staff to follow thru with getting records and having it approved. It took 2 tries but he made it happen doing the peer to peer (doctor to doctor) with the insurance company. I have referred co-workers and a family member to Dr. Ancha and they are very pleased. I have suffered from migraines basically all my life and Dr. Ancha has been the only Neurologist that has been able to help me. Don't waste his time for not kissing your butt. He will tell you the cold facts. It is your loss, not his.
Saw Dr Ancha today for severe back pain that I have been having for years. This Dr, came in looked at a computer monitor and said " There is noting I can do". Did not examine me, did not look at x rays, or MRI's noting just a computer screen. Made no recommendations, no referrals, zero advice. Never have I seen nor been to such an incompetent "doctor" in my life. Garbage . Do not waste your time with this person. He in my opinion is fit maybe for mopping floors.
Have been seeing Dr. Ancha for about 3 years. Always is informative and gives me new ideas to help with my PD. He always shows compassion and understanding with firm guidance.
great
I had suffered with a seizure disorder, and migraine headaches for 8(+) years. I was a patient with LRMC's Dr. S., (locals: Dr. C., and Dr. G). Dr. C even had the audacity to refer me to the UF Shands Neurology, (Gainesville, FL), and they could not help me either. After a disrespectful visit with Dr. G., I was led by a receptionist in my current primary's office to connect with Dr. Ancha. I Praise God for a health provider, that should be classified as 1st Class in the medical field. I have not had a seizure very close to 4 years. Need a Neurologist. Choose Dr. P. Ancha RMP
I saw Dr. Ancha for a simple explanation of an MRI report and was extremely impressed with his thoroughness and “bedside manner” in helping me not only understand my diagnosis but also in discussion of a variety of neurological issues! He took his time with me and definitely went the extra mile in helping me understand the complicated world of neurology and my place in it. He’s a rare breed of doctor in this day and age of “flyby” medicine. I’ve only seen him the one time, but feel comfortable recommending him, without hesitation.
Very unprofessional attitude. Waited 2 wks for appt. His office made a mistake in scheduling but instead of handling it with his office we heard all about it and wasted valuable patient time. His expertise listed is what we came for but left without any assistance. Thought Neurology meant looking at not just the brain but the whole nervous system, guess we were wrong and wasted his time. Pt has neuropathy. Had to ASK him to review a brain MRI. Dismissed us w/no regard for the patient or our time
Takes time to explain things to me. Never feel he is in a rush to see some one else.
I see just started seeing Dr. Ancha at the Lake Sumter office in The Villages. I have seen my fair share of Neurologist and have NEVER seen them more than one due to their god like complex and inability to listen and try to understand my situation. I suffer from chronic migraines as well as many other medical issues that make treatment very difficult. Dr. Ancha is wonderful! He listened, didn't make me feel belittled and took all necessary time to come up with a treatment plan. He takes the time to explain things and to understand you and your problems as an individual. Awsome Doctor!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
