Dr. Effren is an amazing podiatrist. He really listened to my issue regarding my ankle. He did a thorough exam to pinpoint the exact area of pain and clearly explained my options to me. Now I feel great!! It is amazing to be able to walk comfortably again! He also did ankle surgery on my friend. She could not walk before the surgery, and now you would never even know that she once had such a severe problem. I do not know how she found him in the first place, but I am so thankful that she did!!

You do not ever think about your feet, until you cannot walk like you used to! I am a very active person, and I injured my ankle. I went to an orthopedist twice, without any relief. After seven months of babying my ankle, my friend recommended Dr. Effren. He had operated on her, and she is like a new woman! Dr. Effren took so much time to listen to me and he fixed my problem! I have no more pain! I re-joined the gym! Can you tell how excited I am? I HIGHLY recommend this very caring, patient, and humble physician. Thank you, Dr. Effren!

I made a podiatry appointment with Dr. Steven Effern and he was such a great foot Dr. He had a very nice mannerism and addressed my foot issue. He clearly explained the cause. The office staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Steven Effren for your foot and ankle issues. He’s a very caring polite Dr.

From my experience, Dr. Effren is a dedicated medical professional. He evaluated my foot issue and shared his professional insight. Although I am very knowledgeable of anatomy, he made sure I understood how my issue could impact my life in the future. He considered my age, health, activity level, and other factors as he made his recommendations, explaining that although surgical repair was not an emergency, it would eventually be a step I would probably have to take. I felt confident as I went forward with surgery. His explanation of my recovery was perfect! Within just a week, I was taking no pain medication at all! His caring staff did a great job setting up appointments. I am glad Dr. Effren is a participating provider with my health plan. If you have been putting off necessary foot surgery, I would recommend you go ahead with it. It wasn't nearly as bad as all of the horror stories that I have heard. You will have a compassionate "partner" in Dr. Effren--all along the way.

Dr. Effren is a compassionate medical professional. He diagnosed my foot problem and took interest in how that problem affected my daily life. He discussed my options and took into account my age, typical activities, and medical history. He said that while I had no emergency situation, the quality of my life would benefit from surgery and eventually, it would become a necessity, anyway. I felt confident moving forward with the procedure, getting it over with. He explained all aspects of my recovery period. All in all, it has been one month since surgery and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. If you have been delaying foot surgery, you need to meet Dr. Effren. I am sure you will be happy with the experience.
