I usually never leave reviews (good or bad) but felt absolutely compelled to leave a review for Dr. Hu. I've been seeing him for a few months now for shoulder and back pain after being referred by my primnary doctor. he is a Physiatrist (a new word i learned!) which i found out is basically a nonsurgical muscle, nerve, joint doctor and is exactly what i needed. He is extremely knowledgeable in his area of practice and I feel 110% comfortable every time i visit. First, after examining me and reviewing my history and images, he took the time to explain to me what the source of my shoulder and back pain were and a treatment plan to follow. He never rushed me, never pushed opioids on me, was extremely patient with me even though I had a ton of questions to ask, gave me options to address my pain which made me feel very comfortable, and spoke to me in regular words and not in complicated medical language that i couldn't understand . he listened to my concerns, I never felt belittled and he
