If I could give zero stars I would. The first time I called this place (the Sun City location), they told me they didn't have my referral on hand so they could not make an appointment for me. I confirmed with my PCM that they did not need the referral and that I could just give them the authorization number. Today, I called them again and told them I have the authorization number. I was put on hold for 20 minutes so she could go ask a supervisor if they could use that. I eventually gave up and called back. The same person answered the phone. I explained to her why I was calling back. I told her that I had just been on hold for 20 minutes so she could go talk to a supervisor. She lied and said it was not her that answered the first time. She said, "Let's start over." She then asked for all my information and which doctor I was trying to see. When I told her Dr. Dawson was on my referral she said he was not available until August. That is unacceptable and in my experience, an over booked, busy doctor is not a good one. I would not stay away from this place. They have enough patients.

I am a patient of Dr. Claire, and I am so incredibly impressed with his thoroughness and friendliness. It’s been a while since have had a G.I. specialist who is this competent and friendly. I highly recommend him.

If I could leave no stars I would. I came in with proof of a personal situation where I should have been seen by a different Dr who specializes in what I had. I had to demand an antibiotic to treat what I had for myself and my husband. I told the nurse multiple times I still had symptoms and they couldnt get a referral to the Dr that I should have seen since I tested negative for 1 of the 2 issues I had. They never recieved my husbands results but also they cant pick up a phone and contact Quest Diagnostics to get those results. Dr Caire really doesnt care. Find a Dr who does care or listens. He probably didnt care since I knew a lot of information about what I had and what treatments work for it. He was right about something I also had but never treated me for it since I didnt think I had that also. I also called for an anti nausea medicine for the antibiotic I was on and they refused to help me since tetracycline can make you very nauseous. Ive never had so many incompetent rude Drs treat me until I moved to Florida from Ohio.
