I went through a day of pre op only to have Dr. Gifford cancel my surgery. I have family in from another state to aid after surgery. Fiancé took day off to drive me. South Bay and Dr.Gifford blew us off. Really messes up our ability to follow there rules for surgery. Buyer be ware!

I was admitted into South Bay hospital ER. Dr. Giffard was one of 4 Dr's I had during my week stay. She came in EVERYDAY to see me, even on weekends. Great bedside manner, very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr.Gliffard.

My wife has had to have 3 surgeries in the last 5 years and Dr. Giffard was her surgeon. She did all three once for a ruptured appendix which literally saved my wife’s life and twice for hernias. In each instance she kept me completely informed as soon as the surgery was complete and my wife never experienced any problems after surgery. Dr Gifford is very professional and polite. She was able to answer any questions about the surgery and I would recommend anyone to see her for your surgery. She’s number one in my opinion.
