Daniel Shmorhun's Online Review Report Card

At first I thought he was wonderful.... The day after my childs ablation she eneded up in the ER. We followed up and her ablation failed. Dr. Schmorhun reassured us that her pathway was not dangerous and she shouldnt be having symptoms! Ummm.... What? Her symptoms are what brought us to a Cardiologist. Not even 2 months after ablation my child once again eneded up in the ER this time with extreme shortness of breath. Diagnosis: left bundle branch block and left atrial enlargment. Called Dr. Shmorhun's office to schedule an appointment which was SUPPOSED to be on Nov 11th. A few days later his staff called and cancelled our appointment saying it was to early to see him and continued to make a point by saying they tried to leave a message to followup in one year ( very condescending)I was absolutely dumbfounded! We made the appoitment bc new symptoms and issues came about. We were instructed to call if we had any concerns... I expressed this to his staff and she responded "do you know how many people I talk to a day? How was I suppose to remember?" Ummm is this not your job? To document reasons for visits? Apparently not! I wish I could give negative stars and I NEVER leave reviews.Thanks for caring about your pediatric patients doctor! What a joke..

Dr. Shmorhun is a great doctor. His bedside manner is superb and very patient with questions and my family. i was lucky to find him.

Dr Shmorhun has the highest rates, above any other doctor. Total "sticker shock" when we got the bill(s). Spent little time with us and then told us my daughter needed to drink water, eat salt and "not think about the issue." Not a valid diagnosis.

Great Doctor, answer all our questions, explain everything about procedure, very professional, highly recommend.

Awesome! He was so good with my son who is on the Spectrum. Does not rush through your appointment, explains everything. Can’t say enough good about him.

Words can not describe how deeply our appreciation to Dr. Shmorhun and his staffs for everything that they have done for my i12 yrs old daughter and my family last weekend. On Sep 1. 17, we found out so sudden that our daughter got AV block and required to have a pacemaker. On 9/7-9/10, he took care of our daughter as she was his own. Not only he performed perfectly on her surgery but also made sure cosmetically her scar would be well hidden. We are forever grateful to him.

Dr. Shmorhun was in the delivery room in 1990 and 1992 when 2 of my 3 children were born. And diagnosed our older son with WPW in 1998. He is undoubtedly the most caring doctor I've ever had the privilege to meet.

Dr.Shmorhun was absolutely amazing. Our 15 year old son was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in July of this year and we were told he needed an ICD. He spend well over an hour before the surgery explaining everything about it and what exactly he would be doing. His bed side manner is incredible and his knowledge is off the charts. He made one of the scariest days of our lives so much easier. He truly treated us like family.

I can't say enough about Dr. Shmorhun. He is caring, kind, and treats us as if we were his only patients. His bedside manner and sweet disposition have a calming effect in even the most stressful situations. He is well respected in his field and I fully entrust the care of my child to his capable hands.
