Ms. Kinda was discourteous and impatient. She lacked concern for my well-being, did not listen to details provided to her, and, as a result, gave medical advice that was short-sighted and inappropriate and could have had a negative consequence if I had not been paying attention. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a digestive disease specialist.

If you have hep c because of intravenous drug use, you are better off lying to her by saying you got it another way. Dr. Konda refuses treatment for those who have hepatitis c from drug use until they have completed a certain amount of substance abuse counseling. She looks down on patients who have used drugs and would rather witness them suffer with this life-threatening virus than write a prescription to save them. My partner was waiting for four months for Dr. Konda to prescribe medicine. He ended up going to a different doctor in Tampa and was prescribed medication on his first visit, which was four months ago now. He is cured thanks to that doctor. Dr. Konda, if you are reading this, your practice is unethical. Recommending substance abuse consulting is a good idea, but it should never come before treating a deadly virus with actual prescription medication. Now, for people who are NOT Dr. Konda, if you have hepatitis c and are researching this doctor, tell her you got the virus from sexual transmission or a tattoo or something- ANYTHING - other than intravenous drug use, or else she will look down on you as a subhuman undeserving of heath and life.

She decided to take me off medication I've been taking for years after talking to me for 2 mins. She didn't review my records before making this decision. I was with my previous gastroenterologist for over 8 years! She didn't believe me when I told her my condition.

She is an excellent doctor!She accepted me as a patient when I had no money and no insurance.She may not have the best bedside manner but she knows her medicine.I pay her to use her knowledge to fix my problems not to cuddle me and hold my hand!

My consultation with Dr. Konda was pleasant, professional, and informative. She seemed highly skilled and knowledgeable, and shared the necessary information in an easy to understand way. I have a follow up appointment, and a workable course of action to improve my health.

Dr. Konda has spent less than 10 minutes with me for each appointment. She's rushed me through the door just to throw PPIs at me and schedule appointments months later. Doctors get so angry at patients who Google, but what choice do we have when our doctors don't care or spend the time to properly diagnose the problem, and we're left in agony to deal with the sickness. In the end, Dr. Konda assumed my problem is stress/anxiety related and confessed she didn't know what the exact problem is.. so I was referred to another doctor. Thanks for wasting my time and money!

Dr. Konda has zero empathy & hasn’t returned multiple calls regarding a bowel emergency. I had to go to ER. Still no response from her

Dr. Konda is the last GI I would ever consider recommending. She’s limited in bed side manner, knowledge of bowel issues or empathy. She refuses to listen to the need of the patient or prescribe the needed biologics to bring remission. Her only concern is office visits to bill for her services. Leah the office staff was blatantly rude and refused to have the doctor return 911 emergency calls to the patient. If you’re looking for a great GI team, this clinic is not the place for you to receive care. Do your due diligence before seeing this doctor, her practices for care are abysmal to say the least. Proceed with caution!!!

She talked down to me, made me feel like my problems and health concerns were unimportant. I saw her twice and had two tests done, but after those she decided nothing was wrong with me, or couldn't find an answer. It was like she lost interest, so she passed me off to a nurse practitioner for my appointment AFTER I had a scheduled appointment with the doctor for over two months. After that visit with the NP (who was the nicest person there in my opinion), I went through with one more test, but I was so upset and dissatisfied with the staff and my experiences, I refuse to go back and spend any more money there.
