I had to fire Scanameo today. He's not who I thought he was. He refuses to prescribe anti anxiety medication but is perfectly willing to prescribe Ivermectin, a parasite medication for COVID which has never been approved for use on COVID. CAN YOU SPELL QUACK?

After first visit to establish myself, I found Dr Scanameo to be thorough. Since my husband and I were seen together, it might have been a bit confusing. He was very nice. I will need to do a visit alone to make any determinations.

My father is 90 years young, he has had several internal medicine doctors over his lifetime, but my far Dr. Scanameo is the BEST !!!! I am so happy to fine this well respected doctor in Tallahassee, FL

Due to my primary doctor retiring I made an appointment with Dr Scanameo. I found him to be knowledgeable about my medications and suggested I stopped taking one of them due side effects. When I did my own research I decided it was best I no longer take it. He seemed thorough and asked lots of questions. Some blood work has been ordered and I plan to return to him.

Dr. Scanameo disappear one day, close his office with no explanation of his decision and conduct.....that is too bad, can't speak well of this doctor.

Dr. Scanameo, Dr. Imanirad, Dr. Rasaam & Moffitt's oncologists are responsible for saving mu husband's life. Dr. Scanameo also was my special needs sister's doctor. He is professional, kind & great doctor. Can't thank him enough! All glory tp God.

Scanameo only cares about money and not about patient welfare. He orders unnecessary tests and tries to double bill. He is very aloof and uncaring. He does not seem particularly knowledgeable- he makes conclusions based on incomplete information..

Look elsewhere, if you want good care for yourself or a loved one. Scanameo is very aloof and pompous. He truly feels his patients are far beneath him. While he believes he is a god, he doesn't seem especially knowledgeable. He loves to order unnecessary tests and has mastered the art of double billing. He is a doctor who only cares about making money and not about patient welfare.
