List of Anna Koeppel Md's Reviews
We have been seeing Dr. Koeppel since my son was born, 11 years ago. She has been an absolute blessing to our family. Attentive. Kind. Professional staff. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure his health is attended to as immediately as humanly possible.
Two kids come here for a while.
Not at all happy with the lack of care my child received. Dr koeppel has been a very good doctor in the past (been with this office about 8 years) but we recently experienced an emergency that could have been avoided with a timely response from her. She was made aware of the situation and completely blew us off. We have filed a formal complaint with our insurance and will be looking elsewhere for better care for our children. I never give online reviews, however in this case, I feel like I need to warn other parents. I would look elsewhere for a competent pediatrician.
We have twin girls that were preemies and Dr. Koeppel helped us deal with several serious medical issues our girls experienced. She thoroughly answers my list of questions and refers us to excellent specialists when needed. We have been blessed to have her as our pediatrician. She has supported us through all of the stress and our girls are now two years old and thriving. If you want an excellent pediatrician for your little one- Dr. Koeppel is it.
The administration at North Florida Pediatrics is sub par at best. They have retaliatory policies in place that have no correlation to patient care or customer service. We took our 2 children to this office since they were newborns. Once Covid happened, our work situation forced us to work from home which meant that the commute to the DRs office was 1 hr/ each way. We made the decision to move them to another DR that was closer and more convenient due to the ongoing situation. Now that our situation is normalizing and we are going back to work we decided to put them back in North Florida Pediatrics (Because we like the Doctor). Well as it turns out, North Florida Pediatrics has a policy (apparently, I have not seen one in writing) that states that if you leave the practice for another Dr. in Tallahassee that you are not welcome back. We were never informed of this originally and had no idea until we received a rude voicemail stating that we cannot come back and "we need to find another doctor". This policy is 100% retaliatory and has no administrative reason to back it. If we would have moved to another city and came back it would have been no problem, or if we went to another Dr. initially and then transferred to them it would not have been a problem either. I have called several times to resolve the issue. I was transferred to a "supervisor" who said she would call me back..... that never happened. It is truly unfortunate due to the fact that we really like the Dr. here. But to any parents that are trying to decide where to take your kids, I would strongly advise against this place due to the poor administrative staff. They essentially BANNED us from the practice because we made a decision that was best for our family at the time! The situation described above is one of several instances where the staff has been less than professional.
Dr Koeppel is a wonderful pediatrician! She has been so good with our kids. I recommend her highly!!

Love the doctors and nurses! The wait times can be a bear, but that's not unusual for a doctor's office. Dr. Koeppel is very knowledgeable and courteous. She always remembers me and my kids names, even if we're just passing in the hall to see the nurse.
We’ve been going there over 6 years. The administrative staff and clinical staff have always been courteous and helpful. I always recommend the office to any parents I know.
The person who picked up initially sent me to be on hold for 30 minutes only to be rerouted back to inform me that they would not see my child. I wouldn't bring my child there after that interaction. Compassion is not something you learn, you either have it or you don't.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
