My son has been a patient of Dr. Wilson's for about 5 years, and up until this point, I would have given him 5 stars. He & his staff are very competent & thorough. I saw a mention of someone not particularly liking his bedside manner. I don't need a best friend. I simply need someone who will take care of my son and put him first, so I'm good. Currently, we're trying to re-establish a new doc. for my son in Orlando because he's moving to go to UCF. In doing so, and in having to deal with other allergists' offices, I change my rating to 25 stars. I suppose it's all relative, but OMG...there's no comparison. Nightmare!! Dr. Wilson is very a proactive and competent doctor. I completely trust his judgment when it comes to treating my child, who has had frequent bouts of uncontrolled asthma. He spends an adequate amount of time speaking to both the parents and child. He can be gruff and has unapologetically "parent blamed" me and my husband for some of my child's asthma problems, to the point where my husband doesn't want to take my child to appointments at the office anymore.

The doctor wasn't that rude; condescending but not necessarily rude. The biggest complaint is his office staff. They were repeatedly rude and his nurse actually hung up on me when I requested she speak in laymen's terms regarding test results. So, in effect, she made my family go through the entire long weekend without truly knowing what was wrong with our child.Should have listened to the other mothers who tried to warn me about this doctor/doctor's office. I will not recommend at all.

Dr. Wilson and his staff are very caring and compassionate. Dr. Wilson is tops in my opinion and I would only recommend him to anyone needing to see an asthma & allergy dr. He takes all the time necessary to see you and never rushes with your visit. He is extremely thorough and addresses all issues with you. He also goes above & beyond what other doctors do and will make other referrals for you as well.
