I had to wait an unusually long time.

This is the worst medical experience that I have encountered in Leon County on Christmas Day. My daughter came into the emergency room at 9:05 pm. While sitting in the emergency room, a young man came into the ER stating that he was having suicidal thoughts. He actually checked in before my daughter did. They called several patients back including my daughter and the young man still did not receive any help. A few minutes later a male nurse, told the clerk that he is not to be in the waiting area. Mind you, no one still came to assist. About 15 minutes later a white male nurse came and stated that he will have to wait his turn. His turn had came and passed. A young women went to the front desk and told the clerk that this man should not be denied service. Of course the male nurse tried to interject but she told him, she was not talking to him. I have been waiting since 9:00pm and did not see the on duty Deputy Sheriff until this incident took place. The charge nurse came out along with Deputy Sheriff to ask the young lady to leave for voicing her opinion. I had to say something regarding this incident. With all the random acts of violence going on in our country. The nurse and deputy ask me what business of mind. Will it is mind business when 14 people are sitting in the lobby waiting for their loved ones and an individual is staying that he wanted to harm himself. The charge nurse stated that he does this everyday. Frankly, I don’t care if he comes in the ER daily and twice on Sunday. All ACCUSATION SHOULD BE TAKING SERIOUSLY! We don’t every know someone’s state of mind. Let’s not forget Parkland. I would like like to know the hospital protocol and what measures should medical professionals and on duty law enforcement should take to ensure safety at HCA Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.

Kind and attentive care. Thank you to everyone on 5th floor and particularly Angel in ER. After 8 attempts by others, including a Doc, he got IV inserted in my chemo-compromised veins. My hero.

I was here on 12/14/22 for a c section!! I was terrified out my mind cause this was my first baby, and my very first surgery!! But to say the my OR team and the nurses here were great would be an understatement!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE everyone of them, they really made my experience and stay so comfortable and amazing!! I couldn’t thank them enough!!
