he is fantastic

Dr. Delise is amazing. He is the best Dr. I have ever had. He takes the time to listen to you and really cares about your well-being. Yes, his staff, mainly the secretaries are horrible and not very professional, however he does not have a say over that, the hospital staffs the employees. Unfortunately Dr. D moved to a different state :(

Had searched for a permanant doctor for years here in Tallahassee. Dr. Delisle is the only doctor that I have seen in Tallahassee that listens to your concerns and does not rush you out of his office. My entire family goes to him, including my 72 year old mother. He treated her with such respect and compassion I was so amazed. What makes him so unique is that when you talk to him it's like talking to somebody you have always known. When I first went to see him he came in shaked my hand, sat down and said "tell me about yourself." Now what doctor does that in this day in time. His nurse is very kind and has that same compassion and openess with the patients. She is not "stuffy" as so many nurses of which I have dealt. I do believe his office staff could be a little more warmer. He does not take walk-ins and this is very disappointing because sometimes those situations arise and you may have to go to an urgent care facility. Other than those two things he is a superlative doctor.

If you want a doctor that when you sit in his office he treats you as if you known him for years then this is the doctor you have been looking for. When Doctor Delisle is with his patients he gives them his sincere time and attention. He does not brush you off and goes above and beyond to insure he is giving you the appropriate diagnosis and medicine. Often times before he gives you a medicine he will check as you sit there to see if there are any drug interactions. I have been to so many doctors in Tallahassee but this is the only one that I have trusted my entire family with. My 72 year old mother even goes to him. It is unbelievable the patience he had with her.

Dr. DeLisle's staff is completely and utterly lackadaisical and inefficient. Hopefully you'll never have to experience the same level of health "incompetence" that I have. Dr. DeLisle may be well educated, but he lacks the experience of a good physician. If his staff provide adequate backup than his practice is worthless. If you've got a common cold, sore throat, or you've broken your toe - then fine, take your chances. However if you've got serious ailments, then I suggest you find another doctor who can provide you with the proper health care that you deserve.
