They cut me off while driving
I was interested in volunteering with Covenant and completed their online form requesting contact from volunteer manager. That was weeks ago. Not a good sign. I'm a retired hospice nurse with years of experience in providing care and volunteering. Their loss, I guess.
This was the worst care I've ever seen. Had horrible huge bedsore on my father. He was dying from lung cancer and developed this sore while in their care. 2 day a week visits and no care for sore other than changing dressing. No medications for it. He was miserable. Definitely made him suffer more in the end. Would never recommend these people to anyone. They just don't care.
The nurses and staff truly loved what they do. They take amazing care of their patients.
They were heaven sent. I was able to keep my wife with dementia , in our home she loved . Staff were: Sandra-Laura -Meridth and Ms. Pat, all just a call away when needed . Thanks from Scottie, Gracie and Jack
A few months ago I read about Covenant's program for palliative care that works along with one's doctor's that provide curative care. There is a list of questions one could answer and if one was experiencing 2 or more of the conditions presently, one would qualify for this program. I have 6. I contacted my Primary care Doctor who had not heard of this program yet. I printed and provided her the information for future use. I contacted Covenant by phone and in writing. I had 6 qualifying conditions. I was seen by a very nice ARNP 3 times I think and a social worker once. Beyond that, the "promises" listed on their website were woefully lacking in follow-through. None of the specialists were contacted regarding this program ( except once by me in the presence of the ARNP). The was no co-ordination with Doctors regarding multiple and severe conditions I endure. It took 3 attempts and over three months to successfully get an approved MRI. I have a " messed up" hip requiring hip replacement. Imagine walking for over 100 days on a " messed up" ( the medical term used by 3 Doctors) I had ZERO assistance with quality of life issues. Note: I am not an End of Life Patient ...as far as I know but I fit the listed criteria for receiving assistance like a glove. My insurance covers these services and I have the ability to pay. I always try to be fair in my reviews and disclose that my cognitive understanding abilities are in decline. I have had 31 major surgeries including 11 spinal/back ( 2 Lumbar fusions) and sometimes pain influences my thought process. The people I dealt with are hard working and nice. Improvement focused on effective results oriented treatment and care would be much better. I am still enrolled with Covenant but have not heard from them since before Christmas and have not received any services period. I arranged for my own surgical evaluation, appointment, and follow up in a 6 minute call. My hope is that the reader shall evaluate my comments and give deference to Covenant despite my experience. It is my fervent belief that a patient is equally responsible for healthcare as is the provider. In this respect, I have failed as I have waited three months for a simple diagnosis. I should have done something differently but remain unsure as to what that is. I have experienced 2 major falls with injury during this time. I have an appointment with my Primary Care physician this week and will discuss an alternative to Covenant. It is imperative that I receive some type of help. Sincerely, Toby

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
