Inexperience young doctor with bad medical habits. Dr Powers is a young unexperienced doctor in the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He prescribed medications without further investigation (for high blood pressure and BPH). He asked me to do a urine test in the TMH lab so he could call me by the end of the day with results to prescribe antibiotics, but never called back in the same day, in the same week, never called back. He just doesn't care about his patients, he is in the business of getting as many appointments as possible to increase the revenue. He doesn't show any knowledge in certain areas (like heart related, prostate related, blood pressure related), but insists in trying to solve the issues himself, without directing to a specialist. He is young and inexperienced, I understand that, but his habits will lead to be a bad doctor. To be avoided.

My children have been patients of Dr. Powers for years and he is an excellent Dr. He has always been really good at returning phone calls and even calling of the weekend and off hours to follow up. After having issues with another local pediatrician, Dr. Powers was able to answer all my questions and help get my children back to good health.

Said there was nothing wrong with me and my joints hurt because i was fat for 5 years he even offered weight loss medication. Turns out i have Fibromyalgia and he left me to suffer. Thanks Doctor powers.
