Dorothy White's Online Review Report Card

Dr.White performed a major surgery on me and she has been absolutely fantastic through the whole process. She is a very competent, confident, focused and to the point professional. I would certainly trust her with a serious procedure. Despite other reviews, I didn't have any trouble at the office either. Everyone I encountered was professional and polite.

Dr. White was notified within the first month of me becoming pregnant, however I have only actually seen her once. I was sick and had a fever of 103, however when I called to be seen, the Nurse informed me that there was nothing they could do and to see a primary. Dr. White had availability another time I requested an appointment, however, “had too many patients to see” and did not want to see me as well so that appointment was cancelled. The nursing are very polite in person but very rude and uncaring over the phone. The Doctors themselves are entitled and lazy. Never again, will I go to their office, and I would NEVER recommend her as an OB to African-American women.

Dr. White is the best! We moved to Tallahassee 1 yr ago and with a baby on the way I was afraid not to find a good Dr. We came across to Dr. White’s office and we decided to give it a try and I think it was the best decision ever. Dr. White helped us every step of the way! And Kelly was really helpful too!

I will start off by saying Dr. White is a very good and knowledgeable doctor. I loved her energy and caring natural.However that's the extend the generosity goes. Her staff is very rude and not professional at all. I had to leave Dr.White in the beginning of my pregnancy due to the fact that her staff input the wrong information in the system and cause me to be charged fees that I was never suppose to be charged. When they saw their errors they still insisted I pay or I couldn't be seen. I was very upset because all of this transpired on the day I was scheduled to have my ultrasound to see my baby. Long story short after that appointment which I had to cancel because they refused to see me due to an error. I ended up changing doctors. Oh when I changed doctors that took them 8 weeks to release my paperwork. By this time I was half way through my pregnancy at 20 weeks. I don't recommend this place due to the front staff, the doctor is amazing but her staff is horrible.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr White and her partner Dr Forsthoefel. They were always very straight forward honest and did everything that could be done to help me have a VBAC. I had the best experience with their office giving birth and I would trust them again with my next. Dr White was who I saw every month then every week and Dr Forsthoefel was on call when I went into labor and delivered my child. I can’t describe how much of a positive experience I had with both doctors. I’m forever greatful since my first birth was with another practice and was quite traumatic.

ATTN: The most unprofessional customer service i have ever seen. do not call these people you will waste your time, me and my wife called them 2 days to make an appointment and every time i was in hold for 15 to 20 min. Also they are the only doctor office requires wife to call for appointment, if you are a man you are not allow to make appointment.

EVERY time I called the office I was on hold anywhere from 7 mins to 26 mins before I actually talked to a live person. It discouraged me from ever calling my doctor if I had any concerns during my pregnancy. I think it is very wrong to feel that way about the care you are receiving while pregnant.

I used to love this doctors office. I havent been here in over 2 years since I received prenatal care and delivered my daughter. I always had such a great experience and doctor White and Midwife Myra were phenomenal. They have definitely gone downhill, the front desk staff are extremely rude and could care less about the patients, they act like its such a burden to do their JOB. Don't expect to make any appointments if you can't find a sitter either, which baffles me because majority of obgyn patients are mothers.. I drove an hour to my appointment just for them to tell me I have to reschedule because I can't bring my 2 year old inside. I wouldnt be so upset if I was made aware before the appointment but they failed to mention that! How does a mother who is the only parent get prenatal care when she can't bring her child along who isn't old enough for school?

I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. White as I navigate perimenopause. She is not quick to recommend surgery and really listens to my concerns. I definitely feel like I can call on her and her staff whenever I am having an issue or something concerning comes up.

She is the BEST GYOBG doctor in Tallahassee. She is kind, friendly and amazing. I recommend this doctor!??
