I am sad to see Dr. Florek retire. He is the only doctor since my 20’s that has had any kind of handle on my migraines and I am now 60. I even continued to see him after I moved away from Tallahassee, that is how much faith I have in him as a doctor. He is the only doctor that has looked at the whole picture and asked about other changes that have happened to ascertain what else could be affecting my migraine situation. I truly will miss him. Thank you for your care.

Dr. Florek is the absolute best! He always listens to my concerns, symptoms and questions and always works so hard to find the right solution for me. He continues to make sure he’s found the best solution for me, and I’m always so amazed by his knowledge and expertise. His bedside manner is wonderful and appointments are always pleasant. The office lights are always dimmed if you suffer from migraines or light sensitivity, and the entire office staff are just lovely.

Dr. Florek is a true gem. I've sent MANY patients to his office. He is the one doctor I've had since my diagnosis that will listen to me. He'll take what I say and apply it to my treatment. He's willing to try anything to help me. He has called me well after hours just to check on me after each of my many spinal taps. He genuinely cares. He is the doctor the hasn't given up on me. But I know it's definitely a team effort. Maria loves her patients and will go to bat for them. From insurance to pharmacists to referrals. She's a beast! And will fight for her patients rights. Maggie is so kind and has the face that will make your smile return. Especially after receiving news you didn't want to hear. They ALL listen. I've called stressed about meds or in pain and they'll listen to me as I'm crying my eyes out. They are all reassuring and will do all they can to help. They're quick with everything. I never have to wait in the lobby more than 10 minutes. I don't have to wait for any of my refills. They care. They're honest. They want to help. They want to improve the quality of life for their patients. Hands down, they're the absolute BEST!

Dr. Florek is one of the good guys. He listens, he is informed and doesn't push the latest, greatest meds if one does not wish that route. He is the only doctor I have ever heard ask his staff if they would like a coffee; that speaks volumes. He is a mensch.

The front desk staff (Maggie & Maria, borh) were humble and Gracious talking to me on the phone and in person; they helped me find my "way" to the appointment on-time when I got lost in Tallahassee, FL(3x - LOL) Dr. Florek was VERY knowledgable about his field, and I feel that his medication changes will help me! Dr Florek himself is GREAT but for whatever reason, all of his longtime, extremely friendly & very helpful staff have left & been replaced by all new staff that have zero personality, are very rude & condescending, act like you're bothering them when asking a question or calling for a refill & just downright make the whole visit & interaction with his office frustrating & miserable! If it wasn't for Dr Florek being such a great doctor & being so nice & empathetic, I would switch to a different Neurologist in a heartbeat. I'm hoping the current staff will all leave soon because they are not a good impression for Dr Florek himself or his practice.

Dr Florek may be the best Dr I’ve ever encountered. He relies on his Patient to feed him the necessary information and assumes nothing. Takes excellent notes and seems to genuinely care about his Patients.
