List of Gregory A. Williams's Reviews
I wish I could be leaving this review about the doctor but the staff are dishonest about responding to patients with urgent situations. Do not count on their office to return calls as promised.
Dr. Williams is an excellent family doctor. With his investigative mind, ability to connect, and medical knowledge all of our questions and/or concerns are thoughly explainedned.
I have been a patient of Dr. Greg for over 20 years. He always listens and offers helpful advise and prescribes needed test in a timely manner. Great to have help from such a caring doctor and staff, that makes you feel like he is on your side and not what the insurance company tells him to do. mark worley
Dr Williams is a caring, knowledgeable, professional who quickly sought the Covid immunizations for his frail elder patients. I highly recommend him and appreciate his medical care.
Updated 2/22/2021 - We spend days trying to get through to someone in the office but they do not answer their phones, do not call you back, and the pharmacy that received the prescription from Dr. Williams can't get through to them so my son has been unable to get the medicine he needs in order to breathe. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DOCTOR! THEY ARE NOT MANAGED WELL AND DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES.We love the doctor, nurse practitioner, and nurses but the office staff are not easy to work with and this has been the case for years. We will continue to see this family doctor because we can all be seen (ages newborn to adult) but have thought about leaving and going to another practice because of the front office staff.
I have no complaints about the medical services, nor wait times. Appts were promptly scheduled and referrals have been managed perfectly. Billing however? Not great. On two occasions now the office has miscoded appts so that they resulted in incorrect charges and copays. On the most recent occasion, I was given a telehealth appt, conducted over video chat (to clarify, I didn’t request an appointment, they called me). It was all arranged via the Follow My Health App, including emails explaining how to call into the appointment, so there is a paper trail for easy review. Due to coronavirus, Capital Health is not charging a copay for telehealth appts, however I received a bill for another $40 copay because the office didn’t code it correctly. That’s $80 in incorrect billing so far. I’ve now left two messages for the office manager (as the billing department says she’s the only one who can fix it), as well as an email over the last two weeks. Zero phone calls back, the bill is now overdue. Doesn’t seem very professional to me for something this easy to correct.
Dr Williams may be a fine Dr but it seems to be impossible to find out. I went there in early December and filled out 10-15 pages of paperwork to be a new patient. I was given an Appt for December 23 rd. I need a surgery and the surgeon needed a Pre Surgery Patient Risk Stratification ( my previous primary care physician retired) I arranged my entire Christmas schedule around this appointment. 2 days prior they cancelled the Appt & moved it to Jan 18th. For me this was nearly an additional month of suffering excruciating pain. Now here we are on Jan 14th and they are cancelling again and saying end of March. I am in excruciating pain daily and during the night. If I had been told upfront that they actually could not see me for 3 months I would have searched for a different Dr. This was extremely unprofessional and frankly cruel. There’s no way I can trust them now as they do not make appts in good faith and More than likely the March appt would also be cancelled last minute. Shameful.
I want to start off by saying the Dr. Williams has been a wonderful primary care physician, and it pains me to leave this review. The primary reason for this is that his administrative staff have been so negligent in their handling of my recent FMLA paperwork that it has caused me to lose faith in TPCA entirely.I had to see a specialist for treatment, but that specialist has a policy of not filling out FMLA paperwork directly. Instead, I had to get the two offices to communicate to have this paperwork filled out. I was assured that I did not need to make an appointment with Dr. Williams to have this completed, and that the admin assistants should be able to handle it.Unfortunately, it was clear that they waited at least 13 days to even start filling out the form, and I was repeatedly giving different and conflicting excuses every time I called. In many cases, it could take days to get someone to call me back, and I nearly missed my FMLA deadline to submit the form. I also found out that they filled the form out incorrectly, which could have been easily prevented had someone actually bothered to reach out to me or to the specialist's office in a timely manner. I am currently trying to resolve this issue, but it has been an absolute nightmare to work with his office. I have had to call once per day since 9/8, and twice per day since 9/11.His admin assistants/nurses are simply not responsible or competent enough to be trusted with important tasks like this, and his office desperately need to make major changes to this process so that no one has to suffer through a similar situation in the future.
A wonderful doctor. Kind and courteous. Always willing to listen and explains everything to you. A true professional and one of a kind.
Our family have been patients of Dr. Williams for 20 years. He is a wonderful doctor and takes the time to explain everything too you and is empathetic and kind. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he's funny too! Thank you Dr. Williams and staff, we are lucky to have you here in Tallahassee!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
