I had to have a fast turnaround gallbladder removal less than a week after an emergency room visit. It was my first ever surgery, and I was obviously very anxious and unprepared. Dr. Dortch was a bit quirky during our pre-operation appointment, but very knowledgeable and explained what was going to happen and why. Meeting with him helped me feel more relaxed about the upcoming surgery, and understand the necessity of taking care of it quickly. His office fit me in very quickly after my referral from the ER, and it was less than a week before my gallbladder was out. His work was excellent, my recovery was smooth and I had no issues and minimal scarring. Only the incision my gallbladder was removed through scarred in any noticible way, and there is no pain at this scar site. Very happy with the results and quick turnaround.

He performed an emergency laparoscopic abdominal on my daughter. He was very professional and had good bed side manner. Overall very pleased with how everything went.

Dr. Dortch is both Knowledgeable and professional in his field of studies . He performed my Gastric Sleeve surgery on 11-14-19 and the experience has been amazing. My recovery time was quick and after three months I have lost a total of 45 pds! My only regret is that I didn’t start his program sooner!
