I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth extracted early January 2023 months before. All I have to say is - if you are a person with a neurodevelopmental disorder (Autism/ADHD), Anxiety, and take medications (especially controlled substances). Regardless of logics, presentation, social status, pure common sense, you will be treated like a drug seeker. I did everything right to make sure that his office was aware of my disorder and called days before to ensure. I am a 20 yo UF student, so I had to travel to even get to my appointment, only to leave feeling the way I felt. And his reasoning behind not performing my surgery made 0 sense, my HR was below 100 and steady until I started feeling interrogated (obviously). And it didn’t help that I didn’t know that I - wasn’t - going to be put under until they told me. Your HR would start increasing too if you realized your weren’t being put under for 4 Wisdom teeth extractions! I was sent home and told to start taking anxiety meds for awhile before they can perform the surgery. Keep in mind that my HR never went over 100 and my anxiety had been under control for months prior. This was just simple dentist nerves, that everyone has b4 going to see a dentist. Either he just didn’t feel like performing the surgery, or he wasn’t confident in his ability to complete it. I would say he’s racist but his arrogance and obnoxiousness is for any and everyone. And no I still haven’t received a call back for rescheduling. And please parent with Neurodivergent kids - don’t bring your kids here! They won’t be put under and you will not be able to hold their hand.

I went in on 3/20/23 for an extraction of 8 teeth (including 4 wisdom teeth), Dr.P was AMAZING. Him and his assistant will make sure you're comfortable the WHOLE time, I had a giant phobia of the dentist but thanks to him and his staff honestly I no longer do. If I ever have to get anymore mouthwork done I want it done by him and him only! So if you need anything done I HIGHLY reccomend him! They're so considerate and patient! 💕

First time seeing a dentist other than the one I've been going to for 20+ years. I was a bit apprehensive but it was an amazing experience. Staff was professional but extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. L was awes6. No pain at all great job

I cant recommend Dr.Pijut and his staff enough! He removed my 4 wisdom teeth a while back and extracted another tooth. I told him i had very bad dental anxiety and instead of doing it at the office he did it at the hospital where i was put to sleep. He and his staff have always been very nice to my mom and i and i appreciate that as many people in this world are very rude. Alot of people speak badly of him or his staff but honestly maybe those people are taking what they say wrong or looking at it wrong because every visit for us was lovely. Please choose another oral surgeon because Dr. Pijut is extremely rude and shouldn’t be in practice. I took my 10 year old granddaughter to have a minor procedure done and like any child she is going to be nervous. We were told that we couldn’t go back with her to help keep her calm of course we were denied this option. The front staff was nice up to the point that we raised a concern of rather she was numb and was getting the laughing gas? Pijut came out after given her 2 dosage of numbing meds and said he wouldn’t be able to complete the procedure because she was moving too much, Sir, she’s 10. RUN, RUN and keep RUNNING. He is the worst ever in dental practice.

Dr.Pijut and His Staff and Wonderful Nurse are Absolutely amazing in Every way Possible. I couldn’t be more Happier and completely Impress with how amazing I was treated. I’d like to also add and say to Future patients that you should take into consideration that there’s nothing great about going to oral surgeon LOL I had five teeth removed some even broken to the gum line. So I knew it wasn’t gonna be a easy Procedure and I’m kinda a baby about pain And I also had bad experiences in the past with other dentists. But Dr.P and His Nurse made Me as comfortable as possible If I indicated any type of pain during the procedure he would stop and make sure I was OK his nurse made me feel like she was comforting me the whole time even gave me a blanket to stay warm I was very happy with everything done and everyone there it was a long wait to get to my appointment but most definitely worth the wait to have a great doctor and a good experience.I highly recommend Him.Thank you Dr.Pijut and Staff🤗 Ashley Saunders

Today was my third and hopefully final visit to Dr. Pijut. I was referred by my local dentist for a total of 22 extractions. I'm not able to "go under" due to other health issues, so NOX and a local anesthetic was used. My gums didn't like teeth being yanked from them (go figure), if I signalled there was pain, he shot more anesthetics into the surrounding area so discomfort was minimized as much as possible. 1. Consultation, normal, as expected, introductions and a peek. 2. Pull 7 teeth from top, he didn't get the updated list from my dentist until I came in, and didn't obviously have insurance authorization for the the rest of the top row. 3. Follow up appointment to check healing progress, I was early and was seen early. It was a quick in and out. He told me that I didn't have to drive the hour if I didn't had problems, I used the appointment as an excuse to hit the junkyard afterwards anyway. 4. Pulled 15 teeth today, he offered to stop on a few occasions if I thought it was too much for 1 day. They called after I got home to check on pain and gave my wife instructions. The worst part was the people in Tallahassee that can't drive. Some trying to do 60+, others 30, others just trying not get hit.

i required a cyst removal from upper jaw....i was in room within 15 mins of appointment. he explained everything he was going to do and it was basically painless.......nurse assistant was very helpful on things i need to do after surgery. now the front of the house.......Carol was supper in helping me set up appointment and even getting me antibiotics when i developed an infection prior to my appointment ..over all excellent and would highly recommend......only problem , no lollypops.................

Worst place I've ever been to.. went for consulting visit for upcoming surgery and discussed putting her to sleep to do the surgery and got there to the appt and took my child to the back wouldn't let me go back with her and was gonna give her laughing gas and not put to sleep like we discussed and then cause she was scared and shaking they wanted to reschedule her after a 2 hour trip to get there... cause it wasn't approved to be to sleep ahead of time 😒 what was the purpose of the consultation visit to set all this up if they wasn't gonna do what they said to start with..
