While it is true that the doctor does not spend a lot of time with me, it does seem that he spends enough to be sure that I am getting the correct treatment. He will stay for as long as necessary when I have questions and his physician assistants are very good and did the treatment well. I have found that it is pretty standard practice for PAs to do much of the actual treatment but anytime they see something suspicious they always have him confirm the diagnosis before they treat. I am happy with the office and the people.
Dr. Marc Inglese does know what he is doing and is very professional. He took all the time necessary to address my issue. I have just started treatment with his second choice of medications (due to cost of his first choice and my insurance). My skin has gone from deep red and rough patches and painful itching to a light pink color, no itching or pain and not rough, and that is in 2 applications of the topicals. So I would say Dr. Marc nailed it. I am now awaiting results from a biopsy for another issue. The only issue I had was with the pharmacy they originally sent my prescription to that did not get back to me for a week. It took 3 trips to the dr.'s office to get them to call me back. It was a week I waited just to find out I could not afford the topicals. The doctor then sent the next best topical prescriptions to a local pharmacy. This was not the doctors fault and they worked with me to resolve this issue.
Excellent, highly trained physician.
He mis diagnosed my condition, gave me a prescription and said come back in nine months to see if it worked. That was after telling me that my previous doctor diagnosed me correctly but gave me the wrong dosage of the same medication he perscribed (same diagnosis). In three months I came back with it clearly not working and he gave me a new diagnosis and prescription, said come back in six months to see if that worked. I suggested a biopsy and he didn't think it was necessary. I went elsewhere
Terrible experience! Although I have been going to Dr. Inglese for years, he did not greet me with a hello. He barely let me speak and rushed through the appointment in less than five minutes, leaving without a word, I guess he was in a hurry to leave for the day (they close at noon on Fridays). When I mentioned in passing that I had waited over an hour to see him, he actually said, "If you can't wait an hour to see me, then you need to find another dermatologist." Really nice.
Expect to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment to be called. Then expect to wait even longer in a room to see one of his staff. They are all very nice, if you are expecting spend quality time with the actual doctor, forget about it. You can expect to spend less than 5 minutes with Dr. Inglese. His staff will do the actual work. His direct patient interactions are brief and seem lacking in real interest. I feel rushed and an inconvenience every time I go there.
Worst healthcare experience of my life. I'm sure he's competent, but I prefer to be treated like a person when I visit a doctor. I am used to doctors who care about me - who know something about me, take the time to discuss my particular situation, use my name when they speak to me, introduce the several people who are in the room and explain the procedure they will be doing. There was more concern about the music that would be playing than about the slicing and stitching they were doing.
He's marvelous! Been seeing dermatologists all my life and I like him the best! I'm 63. Nicest. kindest and always on point. Very impressed and he's a nice man.
Very nice, friendly staff and Dr. Ingleside is very easy to talk with and assuring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
