Prasanti Tatini's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Tatini's before she opened up her practice and was working for TMH behavioral health. I decided to follow her because of her level of care and expertise, and I am so sad that I will no longer be able to keep her as my doctor because of her incompetent help and the stress of having to constantly call her office and explain to the staff the invoices mailed out to me have actually been paid. She is an excellent psychiatrist, but her less than desirable staff has made going to her practice a complete nightmare for the last 3 years. I am so tired of having to constantly call up to the office to fix billing errors, which in turn has made her practice less desirable to go to. The benefit has now outweighed the good I get from the practice, and it has now started to become an added stress to my life that I do not need. I have been double charged bills that Insurance has paid that should have never been charged in the first place. AND when you ask to speak to Dr. Tatini directly to handle the issue, the staff shuts you down, and denies you contact. The constant worry of being reported to a crediting agency happens about every 4 to 6 months when, in reality, the practice has over charged me and my insurance. I have never had so many issues with any practice as the way her billing department handles billing patients. In one week, I went from owing $315.00 to her practice to her practice owing me over $200. When you call up to try to handle the issue, her staff is right off the bat defensive, rude, they shut you down and act like you are speaking to them in an impolite, aggressive way, but the truth is they are very rude, unsympathetic, unorganized, and they do not know how to treat people when someone calls up to address an issue. The constant billing issues since 2021 have finally come to an end for me and my family, but only because my family and I have finally had enough and called it quits, and left her practice. I hope you see this Dr. Tatini.

I came to Dr. Tatini because a friend told me how great her and her staff were. For a while it was ok, I forgot the first psych Dr. I saw but she was amazing. After she left, my medications (that can cause severe withdrawal) were not called in until 15 days after my initial request. I went in patient twice while being under Dr. Tatini's care. That's all the advice she gives you when you are asking for help is to go inpatient. This last visit she laughed in my face when I tried to tell her she was not taking good care of me and that I needed a medication change. She laughed at me when I told her she was not a good physician bc every time we had an appointment she told me she didn't know what she could do for me. That's when she told me she no longer wanted to see me because SHE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF FOR THE CARE THAT I NEED! She asked me why I haven't been seen Hasn't seen me in 2 months bc of her vacation. Never offered me to see her Nurse Practitioner. Told me to go to the ER.

I wish i could give negative star reviews. Her office in Florida First Psychiatry is one the worst, bar none I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I havent met with her i over a year but I am constantly pawned off on understudys. my prescriptions have not been filled on time in months. I am lucky to get a call back unless I call multiple times a day multiple days in a row. Incredibly unprofessional office staff. It like they don’t understand the importance of the business they are in. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS PROVIDER!

The office staff (at the time) was top tier , however I have been unable to reach anyone since September of 2022. I have left messages after messages. No response.

I can never get through to get a prescription refill. I called all day long with no luck and decided to visit the office in person—it was not busy at all. They reassured me that the doctor sent over the prescription but when I contacted the pharmacy I was told they never sent it. So now I have to wait until Monday to try again and I have no medication left.

Just rude and unprofessional

Unbelievable. It has taken weeks to get prescriptions. Left several messages no call back in a week. If you have anxiety I will assure you it will get worse dealing with with this practice. Find another doctor that listens and is on top of their business. I have spent thousands and no improvement. I truly made the mistake of trusting my care too long with this practice. Save your money! Fat chance you'll ever see this doctor. Her real moneymaking gig is working at the hospital. She's runs her practice in name only. She pawns patients off to NP's. She didn't even bother to call in my prescription last week. Major disappointment!

Do not waste your time. This psychiatrist has her full time gig at the hospital. She is the proprietor of her practice in only name only. Expect to only see NP's.

Dr Tatini is a wise, gracious, smart, insightful, caring woman with a great demeanor and warm bedside manner. I feel so lucky to have got in with Florida First and I can't wait to see her again. She really listens to you when you tell her what meds work for you. She listens with the heart of a therapist.
