I have nothing but great things to say about Doc! He is exactly what I want in a surgeon and doctor who has the confidence for surgery and tells you what you need to know and how it really is. He is an outstanding doctor and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who asks. The surgery I had saved my life and I am forever grateful.

I have reviewed all the negative testimonials and must say you people probably have problems with every physician you see. First off he has saved my life twice. He is very nurturing and caring. He always asked if you have any objections to the doctors that are learning. He is very straight forward and has a heart of gold. Dirty office? Never! Extremely clean. Office staff schedules appointments so you do not have to wait or go into a very comfortable waiting Road packed with patients like a can of sardines. You should be grateful you are able to see him. His office staff is wonderful and will do what they need to work you in. It doesn’t matter that his wife is an office manager. You are going to see the doctor and she helps make that possible. Be grateful and thankful. Maybe you were having a bad day. I will apologize on your behalf to him because I know how great he is. Keep up the good work Dr. Schwartz and thank you for all the help over the last 30 years.

I'm very happy that my mother introduced me to Dr. Roy Schwartz, he took care of a problem that I've been complaining about for years, I have seen doctors after doctor and I had one to actually tell me that it was all in my head, and none those doctors sent me for any type of test , but would on say that I was dealing with severe constipation, my mother took me 1st to Ruark , and he send me to have the test that was needed, then I had an insurance change, at that point I had to find another doctor in that network, and once Dr. Schwartz name popped up she said to me, Dr. Roy Schwartz is one of the best and he don't play he gets things done. My mother made my appointment and within a week, I was in for gallbladder surgery, and now I'm feeling a 100% better just a little sore, but none of those suffering pains in my stomach any more. Thanks Dr Roy Schwartz, I am pleased and you are the best.

I can honestly say that Dr. Roy Schwartz, is an awesome surgeant and he has pro-formed surgeries for me in the passed, the 1st surgery was a lifesaver, I will say God continue to blessing Dr. Roy Schwartz in doing the awesome and amazing work as One of the Top Surgeon's in Tallahassee Florida. I found Dr Schwartz very pleasant and informative. He did not rush appointment. His staff was very nice and courteous

I did not enjoy my experience with this doctor. I think he schedules unnecessary appointments to gather quick insurance bills (still costing me a $40 copay each time!) After a life-threatening scare, he spent NO time explaining what was happening to me or how I needed to address it. Over the course of 4 appointments, I have spent a total of 7 minutes talking to this man. He would run out of appointments like his shirt was on fire and I'd have to beg the nurses for answers. He also kept bringing in young male residents into my appointments without my consent. As I am a young woman with unexpected bowel issues who was raised southern Baptist, this was very upsetting for me. I was not raised to discuss personal bathroom issues in a room filled with men. Additionally, my bowel issues are an immune problem and he once had me, him and two other young men in the small room. That's a lot of exposure. He also kept insisting I was a drinker. I don't drink!! I had to repeat this several times. My gut (pun intended) says something is off about him. I looked him up on the Leon county civil and criminal records. He has a DUI and a malpractice lawsuit and numerous other traffic violations. No wonder he kept insisting I was a drinker. He must think everyone is an alcoholic since he is. My GI doc (who is awesome!) says I do not need to see a surgeon and did not know why I had been scheduled with his office after I left the hospital. She told me to cancel all appointments with him. I did so with relief!
