List of Stanley Whitney's Reviews
I hate to do this, but, I'm leaving a bad review. Dr. Whitney didn't seem to care at all about my issues. I had been suffering for 4 years at that point. He was very brisk, and seemed to dismiss my complaints. He would go in and out of my room, seeing others. When he returned I had to remind him of what we had just discussed. He did order the MRI is asked for and sent me to an Opthamologist. He then sent my out the door with a sample of some migraine meds and said "see ya in 3 months". (Which was actually 4 months once they scheduled it. That was it. I had to call for the MRI results, 2 days later, got a call from a nurse that said in was "clear" but there was some "intermittent" activity? When I asked questioned that comment, she said "the doctor will discuss it with your on the next appointment". Which again, was 4 months away. I finally got a referral to another Neuro here in Tally, who immediatelly recognized that I had real issues, ordered testing and came up with a disgnosis, which is pretty severe. Thank The Lord I was led to THAT doctor! I cancelled my "4 month away appointment with Dr. Whitney and haven't looked back.
He is a wonderful provider. His office staff is really degrading and will make you feel like you are not even a human being?? I hung up the phone today and simply cried because I forgot my last appt.
Poor experience with this doctor
We had a very poor experience with this Doctor. The doctor did not seem to be very engaged in my wife problems. His attitude was like "Sorry, Not Sorry 👎
The office staff are exceptionally rude ad non caring. My wife is 75 years old. In my 74 years dealing with doctors staff they are by far the worst.
This Dr is a quack Hes unhelpful and unwilling to help a family member find the cause of her seizures. His reply when asked "Too bad for you" What kind of a doctor says this to a person that's suffering? More to come about this guy.... (Board of regents oversight)
I Love Dr Whitney, he has grate bed side manners and listen to his patients needs and concerns
Dr Stan is Awesome! My husband & I have both seen him for several years now. Our appointments never feel too clinical. Its like going to visit a really good friend. 😁👍
Dr. Whitney & his staff (Sara Jo & office manager) are unprofessional. Dr. Whitney only hears what he wants to & if challenged becomes passive aggresive. He did a nerve conduction, left the room without telling me anything. He refused to refill my medication but gave no reason. His staff is very unprofessional. Has the office manager from hell. I would rather have a window washer manage my neurological needs. You & your staff need to ready themselves for a complaint from the FL Medical Board. You are horrible.
My sister was seen by this neurologist, and his bedside manner and overall demeanor was absolutely horrible. The way in which he spoke to her and delivered delicate news was uttered very rudely, sarcastically, or nonchalant. Maybe to him…he sees each patient as simply a paycheck, but they are PEOPLE and should be treated with respect, compassion, and decency. When patients are going through health issues or traumatic events, they need a competent doctor who CARES. In the end, he did not help my sister whatsoever with her condition. He even had the audacity to state that he didn’t care what she did, especially after her hospital stay, which ultimately translates to him not caring at all about his patients. Regardless of what level of education or credentials doctors these days attain…they desperately need a lesson in bedside manner and professionalism, which is extremely lacking. My sister will be seen by a much more proficient and empathetic neurologist. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
