Stephen Haley's Online Review Report Card

My husband went on Tuesday for a swollen, hurting ,varm foot to see Dr Haley. It started on Christmas Day out of the blue. Dr Haley barley looked at the foot, said it probably wasn't a blood clot and recommended an insert in the shoe that he barley could get on his foot... Thank God he already had an appointment at his foot doctor today, that send him for an ultrasound right away, and sure enough, it was a blood clot... He is now on blood thinner medicine and hopefully it won't travel...I'm very upset about this, 2 extra days. Can make a big difference.

Dr. Haley has been my doctor for 30+ years. He likes to talk, but he also listens. Each individual needs to take responsibility for their own health. He will listen and help you do this.

I went to Dr. Haley because my ear starter ringing and he told me there's nothing that can be done and to get used to it for the rest of my life. Told me to go get Afrin. I went to a specialist because it became painful and found out I could have reversed the ringing and hearing loss if the doctor had referred me to the ENT when it first happened. I wouldn't send anyone to Dr. Haley.

He has been my doctor for over 25 years. Always listens, does talk a bit, but always seems to know what is going on. I have recommended him to several people that like his also.

Dr. Haley is horrible. The first time I went to him, I left crying and feeling unheard. The next time, I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes on time, got in the back on time, and then waited 2 hours for him to arrive to the room. When I tried telling him what was going on with me, he ranted about stuffI didn't ask about. He then tried to leave the room without hearing any of my concerns. I had to keep telling him I wasn't finished for him to sit down. I got my blood work completed at the same place 5 minutes after leaving his office, and my results have disappeared into thin air. That was August 2017. My physical notes and all the specialists I was supposed to be referred to were never put into the system either. He may have been a good doctor in his prime, but he is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay past his prime and needs to retire ASAP!

Dr. Haley is very thorough, listens to me and takes the time to explain my health issues. He is very well versed on new things developing in medicine. He is friendly, pleasant, and professional. The receptionist & nursing staff are excellent. It is easy to make an appointment and to interact with staff through the Patient Portal.

I had a similar experience as Todd. I went as a new patient for a check up and to meet the Dr. He didn't say hello, introduce himself or ask anything about me nor my medical history. He immediately informed me that annual checkups are overrated or words to that degree. He talked about his ailments and his family's ailments. He briefly listened to my heart (I've had some issues in the past - of course he did not know this). While "listening" he talked the entire time - about 10 seconds.

Quit coming to this Dr because he never helped me get better. Would recommend things and then forget prescriptions, not follow through with plans, etc. Could never get appointment either. Took my husband there who was in obvious serious pain and he referred us to another Dr, who we don't know when we will get into. Then sent us on a goose chase to find brace for his leg. Been to three places literally all over town and had to call again bc they don't even offer it at places we were sent. Over an hour of driving and we are back next door to his office to get it. Very Angry!!!!!! Husband's leg is swollen to where he can't walk!

Dr. Stephen Haley, MD has been my physician for twenty years and has always provided outstanding professional care for me. He takes time to discuss in detail all my concerns, and has never rushed me. Dr. Haley became my wife's physician after we married 13 years ago. He was recommended to me when I came to Tallahassee, and as a Christian I admire and recommend him. Dr. Haley is a first class human being as well as a first class physician.

Haley spends more time talking about himself and his ailments than focusing on the patient. He is also impossible to work with concerning auto insurance claims. I have had to make a complaint to the CHP medical director regarding his unwillingness to work with the insurance company. I had to pay out of pocket for an accident in which I was not at fault because he refused to write a brief letter stating that I followed up with him after an emergency. I am shopping for a new doctor now.
