List of Suma Dondapati's Reviews
Dr. Dondapati is medically competent when given a chance. My dissatisfaction with my medical care isn't with her but with the HMO. PCPs' patient loads are probably too large. Additionally, PCPs are little more than triage doctors for the HMO. That makes PCPs more bureaucrats than doctors. I found that to get the care I need, I have to review the HMOs document center for their clinical guidelines and make sure I "present" myself within those criteria. Once Dr. Dondapati could check off all the little boxes in her database, she was always quick to send me for diagnostic procedures or to refer me to a specialist. I suspect it is very frustrating to be an HMO doctor today. They have little autonomy to make their own medical decisions. Therefore, I gave Dr. Dondapati 5-stars because I don't want to dock her for what is a systemic problem with the HMO.
Very attentive and helpful
This doctor is arrogant and dismissive. She definitely needs a lesson in manners. Do not come here if you want to be treated with compassion.
Very unpleasant visit. The doctor refused to acknowledge any inappropriate behavior on the part of her nurse. She dismissed me totally.
Dr. Dondapati has always listened to my concerns and talks over my concerns to find out what's wrong.
One of the worst doctors. She is rude and has no bedside manners. Always made me feel crazy instead of digging into my symptoms a bit more. Never had time to see patients for last minute appointments. I do not recommend her.
This doctor did not prescribe me the necessary meds so I had a massive stroke and am now paralyzed. We tried to sue her but no one would take our case. She is still responsible for this malpractice
I suffer from GBS and as a patient she was completely unhelpful any time we asked Dr.Dondapati several times for assistance with finding proper medical treatment and medication and medical documents she always says she can’t do it. What doctor does that.I would never recommend her to any who cares for their loved one or overall well being about. She’s one of those doctors that wears a white coat but doesn’t do a thing for patients she just there a waste and she rude.
I was at one time a patient of Dr. Suma Dondapati, however I found her quite unsatisfactory and lacking in knowledge - she was dismissive of my complaints on more than one occasion, and she seriously misdiagnosed a very serious attack of Herpes Zoster (shingles) . I She did not follow-up with us throughout 11 day ordeal of just ing to get help. Repeated visits to ER. We were very much on our own!! My dau called her office on several occasions reporting no success with prescribed meds and trying to get another appt. and help[. I was in severe head pain, was not ambulatory - - she was not attentive or proactive in any way, She insisted that I had migraine (tho never had one in 75 years)! She just shuffled me off to another ER . She was definitely in over her head!!t I consider her to have been very negligent in my case. If you need Neosporin or a band aid she's your gal. i
She misdiagnosed my mother's ocular shingles as conjunctivitis and migraine. This was 2 and a half years ago. She didnt order labs for her diagnosis, she just thought my mother was a crazy old lady and treated her as such. This cost my mother her vision in one eye and severely diminished her quality of life. Before her misdiagnosis, my mother was enjoying having a part time job to supplement her retirement income and was engaged in an active lifestyle. Now, she's half-blind, can't drive, lost her ability to work and is chained to Lyrica the rest of her days. This woman did not kill my mother, but she did do harm. I don't think she understands the Hippocratic oath. I would especially not recommend this doctor for your geriatric parents/grandparents/self.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
