List of T. Dean Dalrymple's Reviews
We have a medically fragile child who goes to Shands frequently to see multiple specialists. Dr. D. is the only person in town that we trust. We have seen him for the past 12 years and he has been an important member of our medical team. He works well with the specialists and he has also been a caring and wonderful doctor.
He didn’t even give a full exam, he was also extremely closed minded and not knowledgeable about seizure issues. We were very disappointed.
We always get in quickly for sick appointments and have never waited more than five minutes to be called back and that was only if we got there early. The care is thoughtful and meticulous and I love that my kids see the same person every time for every visit. That continuation of care is so valuable for young kids.
Absolutely wonderful. The best pediatrician in town. Kind, great bedside manner. Listens to us parents as a regular part of the child's care
We have been so happy with Dr. Dalrymple, his nurses and office staff for the care of our daughter. At every appointment, he takes his time to answer our questions and we feel like we're his only appointment for the day. We never have a long wait for office visits or callbacks. I recently called with a minor issue and my daughter was seen the same day without any question or difficulty and I was so appreciative. We have also seen Dr. Jones a few times in Dr. Dalrymple's absence and he is also wonderful and kind. Dr. Dalrymple was recommended to me by several people, a few of whom had seen him as children and now bring their own children to him and we now highly recommend him as well.
Dr. Dalrymple treats patients as if they are family. He is great with young children, takes time with each patient and really listens.
My 4 children have been seeing Dr. Dalrymple gor 5 years and they absolutely love him. He is friendly, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He spends time talking to them and has time to listen. He makes everyone feel like they are family. We would not change to any other doctor. Renee Rowell.
My two sons have been seeing Dr. D. since they were 2 years old. They are now 19 and 21. I have tried to get them to switch to "an adult" doctor, but they refuse. So I guess until Dr. D. says leave - they will continue to see him. Dr. D. has always had time to talk with them about what is going on in their lives, stays up-to-date on advances, and ALWAYS takes my "mom opinion" into account when discussing treatments. He is a good listener and an intelligent doctor. The saying, "medicine is more art than science" describes Dr. D. He is a true artist in helping kids!
This guy has got to be the best pediatrician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I took my kids to him after leaving a group practice where my children were treated like random "patient ID #'s"... He is intuitive, good with all kinds of kids and is willing to let them set the pace of each visit. I've been especially impressed with the way he keeps up with the latest research on conditions such as ADHD. He is always careful to explain and present all the options before making a recommendation about a course of action. Wish all docs were like this!
My child has been a patient of Dr. Dalrymple's since birth. He is now 11 years old, and he adores him. He is patient, explains things thoroughly and has a great demeanor with kids. His staff is pleasant and always accomodating. He is resistant to prescribing medications for problems because he believes that then you have to deal with side effects. He believes in letting nature run it's course. It has worked well with my son.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
