Dr Ruark has done 3 surgeries on me in the past and I've been doing fine.1998, 2004, and 2006. He's a great Dr. I'd recommend Dr Ruark. Good man. He's very concerned about his patients.

Dr. Ruark performed my appendix (appendectomy) was not a good through doctor. He came to visit me in the hospital about 5 am and was in and out of my room within 5 seconds, if I had any questions I had to ask quickly or he was gone. I seen him a couple times in his office for my post op and he only checked my incisions once, the labs he ordered while I was in the hospital he never went over them and my hemoglobin was <10. I had lots of complications after my surgery and ended up back in the hospital with infection, which I found out about the same day that he tried to send me back to work. He does not like to listen to anything you have to say, once he says what he wants to say he will walk out the room and ask you to follow him. Still having complications he basically told me as a surgeon he had done all that he could for me and that he would have to refer me to my primary for the other problems that I was having due to the surgery he preformed. I would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Ruark just completed my surgery 12/3/2020 and it went great! He was very patient and attentive to my health. I am forever grateful to him and his team. What started out as a really bad case of Diverticulitis resulted in an abcess on my bladder which was removed. He also had to take out my appendix and a piece of my colon! The surgery was about 4 hours but I recovered well and fast! Thanks Dr. Ruark!

Dr. Ruark saved my husband's life. He is an excellent surgeon, totally dedicated to his patients. He takes time to talk and explain everything and shows compassion and dedication in everything he does. He is the only doctor ,of all my husband's doctors ,who visited every day. This was including weekends and the entire four weeks my husband was in the hospital. I would recommend him to anyone, nothing but good things to say about him.
