Dr. McKinnie is a wonderful and caring doctor. She is very professional and genuinely cares about her patients. I was treated like a person, not like a number. She took her time to explain everything in a manner that was easily understood. That alone tells me that she is a jewel I want to keep.

It was my first time visiting Vikki McKinnie at North Florida women’s care. She got to me quickly, was thorough, professional, and didn’t make me feel like a burden or weird for asking questions. I’m very excited to continue seeing her!

I recently removed my IUD and have been on the hunt for another birth control that worked best with me. After trying one and that failing I switched to another one. Before prescribing the birth control the nurse warned me about the emotional side effects it tends to cause and encouraged me to call if I noticed anything. So after a month and a half I contacted Dr. Mckinnie’s office again and informed them I was having issues and needed to switch. I was then informed that this kind of birth control doesn’t cause emotional health problems because it was a low dose. Then they proceeded to tell me the doctor wanted me to continue this medication for another month and a half. I’m a very positive person and this medication made me an awful person to be around. I was so amazed at how Dr. Mckinnie completely disregarded my emotional health and then her nurse told me some bs. Do not go to her, I don’t want a doctor who isn’t going to listen when I tell her issues that are going on with MY BODY.

Felt rushed from the moment Dr. McKinnie walked in. I told her I had a fear of needles & was kind of panicking about the procedure, but did nothing to try & calm me down or reassure me. She was overall rude. She kept telling me she had other procedures to do & how this appointment wasn’t a consultation. Doctors should not complain about a patient asking a question about a procedure that is about to be done to them. Overall awful experience with her. I ended up walking out of the appointment without getting the procedure done because I just felt so uncomfortable with her. I will not be coming back to that office.

Dr. Mckinnie has terrible bedside manner. She has no concern for patients with anxiety. She is dismissive and does not care about your dignity what so ever. If you're looking for a GYN who cares about what your going through you will not find it here. I may never recover from the traumatic experience Dr. Mckinnie caused by being unkind and callused.

Dr. MCKINNIE is so down to earth and truly genuinely interested in helping her patients.She takes the time to listen and to discuss the best Avenue of treatment for you.I had to have a biopsy done and it was easier to deal with knowing my doctor cared about my health.I am glad I changed over to NFWC and have a doctor who is making a difference for women and their health and well being.
