List of Alberto Fernandez Sabater's Reviews
He is rude, cocky, takes your money, condescending, and then tells you he needs more $$$ to complete an intake before he decides if he will “help” you or not. I hope he is his first patient of the day.
Awful. Not professional at all. Rude, disrespectful, and does not care about patients
WARNING: Make sure you get a written & signed contract or agreement before you begin. The services that were promised were not provided and it ultimately cost quite a loss. Also, BEWARE of any type of questions you ask this supposed professional, he will drop you in an instant from his practice with no notice for any type of disagreement and keep payment. His way or NO way! He is only worried about money and much more seems like a scam. Unfortunately, I will be reporting this practice.
Not sure why he is in this profession... cocky, rude, terrible disposition
This man wasn’t helpful and wore only socks to the appointment. He was abrasive. For the amount he charged and his lack of bedside manner, it takes everything I have not to call the medical board on him. Went straight back to the PCP who referred me and requested a different dr.
I have had very negative experiences with this doctor. I will not return
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR
I have been seeing Dr. Sabater for two years. He is a highly intelligent man who could tangibly talk about anything in terms of psychology, culture and literature. He is Kind, gracious, patient, and unassuming. There is no task too small or too large for Dr. Sabater. He has helped me throughout many of my private matters. I have healed many of my troubled past issues and still uncovering new ones I did not know I had. I am a constant working progress and I'm ok with that. He has supported fearlessly and for that, I am indebted to him. Thank you Dr. Sabater for helping me see the landscape of the world with a different perspective, and for giving me the tools to gain clarity and confidence to propel forward.
A kind and caring doctor.
Yesterday, I went to see this "doctor"... Sabater, MD, for the first time. Not only did he keep me waiting for 15 minutes while he fixed his lunch, he then proceeded to eat it in front of me during "our session". He never made eye contact; he was dismissive, and later, I felt like a fool for not having left and demanded my money back. He charged a great deal of money for what he said was a 45 minute session; it had been my understanding that it was to be a 90 minute session to assist me in dealing with the PTSD that I have been experiencing. He wanted to book me for two additional sessions to "complete my history intake! When he had finished his huge salad topped with avocado, half a roasted chicken and a pint of black bean soup, he pronounced our session was over. When I got home, I had had time to process my feelings, and I called the office. He told me that if I wrote anything derogatory about him that caused him to lose future income, "he would sue me for everything I have, or ever would have." This "doctor" did me a great disservice; this man who ate his lunch in front of me while clad in his socks. I felt so much worse after our encounter and subsequent phone communication. I would like to add that this man looks absolutely nothing like the photo presented here. I am wondering if he stole the real Dr. Sabater's identity. I am being serious. The man that I saw yesterday was slovenly, very thin, had patches of facial hair and was wearing socks, but no shoes. He seemed distracted, and solely interested in consuming his large repast. He can try to sue me, but these are simply the facts... I am angry at myself for sitting there and allowing myself to be treated in such a disrespectful manner. I will be calling the Florida Board of Health tomorrow. I will also be asking why "Psychology Today" would be endorsing this "practitioner"!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
