She was 7 hours late for my mastectomy with no call or apology- she didn't leave orders for any pain medication post surgery, and took out too much chest tissue which left me unable to maintain prosthetic breasts- obviously no beside manner- this Dr. is a butcher.

I waited to post my comments because I hope my displeasure would not influence my words. It’s been 7 months since my surgery and still I wished I had read the reviews before interacting with Dr Johnson. Patients be informed!!!!

Horrible Experience

Excellent treatment from Dr Johnson and stuff. Makes you feel at ease.

I can’t stress enough to avoid this surgeon at all cost. The staff and the surgeon are dishonest and set false expectations. The service is horrendous! The wait time to just be seen by the surgeon takes hours. The office is extremely unorganized. The staff is also not empathetic which you would expect considering the circumstances surrounding the visit. This surgeon isn’t sterile either which results in infections after surgery. DO NOT BOOK THIS SURGEON!!!!

Horrible experience with her for a hernia repair consult. She was 1&1/2 hours late for the appointment and shen she finally came in she yawned the whole time. Yawned like she was in her own living room with no regard for my presence at all ( after all I am the patient ) Besides her unprofessional demeanor, she was insulting and rude. She continuously implied that I not just needed to lose weight which I agreed with but continued to suggest that I walk past the candy store in th mall and not attend birthday parties to avoid eating cake. When I asked about the actual surgery once I lost the weight she suggested to lose, she proceeded to tell me that I was busting at the seems and no surgery will help me. I have and had no problem that I need to lose weight. I do t want to come across like that is my issue. However, she had no regard for my time nor did she respect me enough to stop yawning. AND could have practiced some kind of control over what she said to her patient. I felt like I was in a SNL skit not a doctor’s office Obviously I did not choose her as a surgeon. I don’t trust her to care for me. And I hope this review helps you to not waste your time considering this quack.

Beyond grateful for this amazing Doctor! In the most caring of fashions Dr.Johnson dedicates TIME to each of her patients to actually LISTEN to what the underlying problem may be and provides very knowledgable, straight forward feedback. Having a great deal of experience without a know it all attitude, and not automatically dismissing what may not present itself as a classic case book study problem, is what I admire most about this physician. My case has been far from easy and she has never given up on me, even when other doctors have... truly EXCELLENT service in healthcare. There can be a bit of a wait, but you are treated as a human being and not a product of a manufacturing line. The office staff actually care about you and do their best to help in any way possible. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND and thank from the bottom of my heart!!!
