Dr. Levy is an incredible neurosurgeon and one of the best in the world from my research. I had a nerve stimulator with paddle leads and did the trial and final permanent surgery. He is very meticulous and after the trial recommended the paddle lead procedure since I'm super active and surf, skateboard, dive etc. and this new technology will ensure the electrical leads don't move. I am in the final stages of recovery and after 3 years since the accident will finally surf again. Be patient as he only sees patients 4 hours or so a week and same with surgeries but I wouldn't have imagined another surgeon performing this complex surgery but say goodbye to pain. Thanks Dr. Levy for giving me my athletic "adrenaline-junkie" life back and ending the frustration of 24/7 pain without meds. No more meds thank God! He was very definite in his opinions, and actually abruptly walked out of-the exam room while I was attempting to ask questions. This Doctor does not like to answer questions. His bedside manner can best be compared to a wolf or a jackal. I did not allow him to perform my follow up procedure. Instead, I am going to a different doctor.

Proficient in performance, but horrific interactions with patients. Very rude and arrogant. Doesn't like you question his recommendations or ask questions period. Was not forthcoming on long-term side effects.
