Great bedside manner

Dr. Thomas Sebastian is a very good physician. He cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable about about his field of expertise. I miss Dr. Sebastian, he was my brother physician.

Excellent physician. Highly recommended.

I'M AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE IN ANGER FOR MED MIXUP, I LEFT A BAD REVIEW....PLEASE KNOW THAT BOTH DR THOMAS SEBASTIAN AND DR RAMIREZ ARE THE BEST DOCTORS IN BROWARD COUNTY I WAS WITH THEM FOR 13 HAPPY YEARS....THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS THEY LISTEN TO THE PATIENT AND TAKE THE TIME TO SIT WITH YOU FOR WHATEVER YOUR CONCERN MY NAME IS MIKE FITZGERALD IF I KNEW HOW TO ERASE MY 2 YEAR OLD REVIEW I WOULD...I LOVE THESE DOCTORS AND YOU WILL TOO...BELIEVE ME THEIR ARE NOT ALOT OF GREAT I.D. Extremely knowledgeable doctor and after a series of questions, diagnosis and treats the problem. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I never even saw this doctor at MEmorial Miramar yet I and my insurance company are being billed for a consult. I did see a PA who knew little and saw me for less than 10 minutes. He, of course, recommended against my discharge , more money for him. He appeared to care little for my health. I doubt he even knew my name.. But the doc in charge of my hospital stay overruled his incompetent assessment

I had a horrible experience with this doctor and up until now just haven't made it a priority to review him BUT PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY. I had surgery over a year ago to reverse a colostomy and ended up with a subcutaneous infection. My surgeon was not at Memorial West (where all this happened) all the time and I got this jerk assigned to my case. Like the other review said, DOCTOR Sebastian came in the first time and was very abrupt, but I was so out of it from medication that I didn't have a chance to react. He wanted to send me home with a PICC line which I refused numerous times for fear of further infection. The second time around he came in and was even more rude and upset that I was refusing the PICC line, talked down to me, and the conversation got so heated that we actually got into an argument. Believe me when I say I've seen HUNDREDS of doctors over the last few years and have been to ALL the hospitals in my area - I HAVE experience..but NEVER something like this. This doctor doesn't treat you like a human being. He gives you absolutely NO say whatsoever as far as your medical care. Here's the kicker - I finally gave in to going home with the PICC line and IV antibiotics for 3 weeks. By the time I needed to have the line removed, DOCTOR SEBASTIAN wouldn't take my calls, wouldn't remove the PICC line that HE MADE ME GET, and shuffled me off to ANYONE who would take me. I ended up having to see an infectious disease doctor at Cleveland Clinic and OH YEAH...was admitted there too for ANOTHER infection. This is the worst doctor I've ever encountered. Please excuse the lengthy review but people NEED TO KNOW TO STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I had to give at least one star on this review because the system doesn't allow anything less, but believe me when I say he doesn't deserve even one star.

This doctor is rude and arrogant. He does not return phone calls, I had to call his office 3 times within a week for him to respond. He tells you one thing and then wants to know where you got that information. He is not a caring man, you are just one of his many patients. When you ask a question, his answer is I don't have your chart in front of me, well if you are returning a phone call, maybe you should have the chart in front of you. He constantly talks down to you. I suggest everyone to stay far away from this doctor.
