Dr. Serneels is an excellent Dr. and always takes the time needed to cover my medical issues as well as follow up when needed. Thank you!!
It took me 65 years to find a doctor like Dr. Serneels. She only takes one insurance, so even though other Medicare supplemental insurance might be less expensive I kept mine to stay with her. She has an on site lab which is convenient. She listens to you and addresses every concern and takes all necessary testing required to either find an answer or satisfy your questions. He office staff is also amazing. Wait time is rarely more than a few minutes from check in.
My mother is a patient of Dr. Serneels. She is by far one of the most compassionate and considerate Dr.’s I have ever encountered. She never makes you feel like she’s rushing through your appointments, pays attention to her patients as if they were her own relatives and her attention to her patient’s needs are impeccable. I highly recommend her and am happy she’s part of my mother’s care team.
Dr Serneels is a very nice Doctor I recommend her to anyone she is a great Doctor
I love Dr Serneels and her staff. If you want a thorough honest doctor this is where you go
Dr. Sernells is a wonderful doctor but her front desk staff is lacking in professionalism and empathy. My sister is handicapped and has been extremely ill for over a year and yesterday, due to a previous appointment with another doctor that ran long, she arrived about 10 minutes late for her appointment and was told by Robin that she would need to reschedule. She even called to tell them she was running late and was told that it was not a problem. Yet, there are times when she has been left in the waiting room or in the back room for close to an hour to see the doctor. She has never told the doctor that she would reschedule because she understands that unforeseen events often happen. In fact, there is nothing worse then being ill and arriving to your doctor's office and the first person you face has a nasty attitude and lacks understanding that for people with certain medical conditions, each activity and movement takes longer than it would for a regular healthy person. Robin does not have the customer service skills nor the personality to be in a position where she works with the general public, let alone with people who are chronically ill. Patients need positive energy and a pleasant disposition from the medical office staff. If this is not something you enjoy, then by all means FIND ANOTHER JOB AND DO IT WELL.
Five stars? Five MILLION stars! Dr. Serneels is truly one in a million. My wife was disabled for a number of years. I was her full-time caregiver. Over the course of time, she changed doctors a number of times, based on what insurance she had at the time. Then, one day, we found Dr. Serneels. After that, my wife would always make sure her insurance plan was one which Dr. Serneels office (now affiliated with Optum) accepted. My wife told me, if we ever moved from the Tampa area, we'd have to live near the Interstate, so we could come back to Tampa for her appointments, because she was not going to see another doctor. Dr. Serneels was EASILY the most knowledgeable, caring, and personable doctor either of us had EVER seen. She and her entire staff were far and away the best at what they did, of any doctor's office we had ever seen. If my wife had a health issue, Dr. Serneels could order the right tests and take the right steps to pin it down, even if it was something obscure. Her insight, intuition, and the scope of her knowledge (even extending to medical specialties) were stunning, at times. Everyone in her office REALLY cares, on a personal level, about their patients. My wife passed very suddenly in 2020, from COVID, despite us taking every precaution. Dr. Serneels and her staff went out of their way to let me know how her death had impacted them, and to offer thier condolences. We truly felt like family, when we went there, and they certainly took care of my wife as if we were. I can not recommend them highly enough.
I've been here for the last 3-4 years I think. The Doctor is a loving person , but just today who ever answered my follow up call , while I was trying to explain the reason of my call was cutting me, not letting me talk, while it was very important what I needed to say. This are who answer calls , this are who see us first in the counter when we go.They must have more patience with seniors.
I love Dr. Serneels. She is very amiable and knows her stuff. I recommend her. Unfortunately, I moved out of state and am very sad I won't be able to see her anymore. One of my favorite doctors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
