Alamelu Murugappan's Online Review Report Card

As a nurse of 30 years, I have a sharp opinion regarding Doctors, nurses and such. I have to preface my saying that Doctor Murugappan M.D. "blew me out of the water" that she was such a very kind soul and genuine. This was my first visit with her and it was most obvious that she definitely had healing in her and all around her. She immediately diagnosed a complex condition that ten or more other Doctor's mised. Thank you and God bless you.

I’ve been experiencing severe pain in my hand for over a month and was referred to the Neurologist. I have waited a month for my appt for them to call me ONE day before and tell me the doctor now has meetings in the afternoon and can’t see me. I was so happy to finally find out what’s going on and praying it isn’t serious. They said the next appt time available that I had which is what I need so that I have a babysitter in place is now a whole extra month out again to wait to be seen. It’s very unprofessional that a meeting is more important than seeing a patient who’s been in extreme pain AND already scheduled way in advance. I am so upset and the only other doctors that I found that takes my insurance can’t see me for months. I pray this isn’t something serious! This doctor cares more about meetings than patients in pain. She clearly isn’t someone you want to see because she isn’t concerned with patients care.

Love Dr Murugappan, she’s extremely intelligent, has a great sense of humor, and doesn’t waste time. She obviously cares a great deal about her patients and shows it by staying focused on what matters, she’s honest, and really encouraging. I appreciate her work ethic and the rest of the staff so much.

Absolutely unacceptable engagement with my mother who is currently experiencing issues with her memory. Her tone was aggressive, she was condescending, and appeared to be irritated by the fact that my mother couldn't remember all the small details of her medical history. She was a new patient and after the quick 10 minute appointment, she carried the conversation to the waiting area which isn't ethical. She then walked off without ending the conversation and I instantly let the receptionist know we would not be returning. I'm a healthcare professional and I have NEVER experienced this level of unprofessionalism., especially for an elderly woman who was coming for medical care for her memory. I wish I could rate her a 0.

Excellent Dr, wish more were like her! I love how earnest and concise she is in in her assessments. I completely trust her judgment regarding my care.

I was in need of a neurologist after relocating from Douth Florida. My appointment was pushed bsck 2 hours without noticing me. I had a pfo closure in Hollywood fl bsck in January. I advised her of the rxtremecpai. In my shoulder which wA alarming to me. She lacked concerned wS very dismissive. Heal care in tamp ducks. Not a very strentive

I would give her 0 star if possible. No intension to help the patients at all. She makes me guilty about my health issue. She literally said "I can't help you." When I ask for her professional opinion, she has none. She is rude and no qualify for physicians. My Insurance paid her over $300 for 10 min visit. No outcome. She was super kind to other white patients hearing from the next room, while I was waiting in the room over 2 hrs.

This doctor and facility deserves negative rating. They are not fulfilling their appointments. More than 2 hours waiting after appointment time. Staff is giving false promise while asked saying after 10 minutes it's your turn. It seems they are living on other planet and their 10 minute is 2 hours on earth. Better look for another doctor who respect their patient and their time.
