Dr. Alfonso Chen doesn't care about you. He just wants to prescribe as many medications as he can. Never has you get checked by a Doctor to see if the meds are not causing any problems to your body Went to him over 20 years and until he looked at my chart he didn't even remember anything about me. I missed 2 appointments due to dental problems, which I paid for the missed appointments and got a letter from Martha saying he was going to close my file! Went to him 22 years and this is the way I was treated. Very disappointing.

He is the best in the Tampa area sad that he is about to retire, after going through a lot trying to find him again after my cancer now the I finally did he is almost done with his career. I wish him all the best and thank you doctor Alonso

Margret the receptionist has been just amazing!! I have been Dr Chen patient for years and Margret has always been so personal Courteous and very professional!! She deserves a raise!!! She is the best!!

I enjoyed my time at Dr. Alfonso Chen's office, Martha the receptionist was always kind and attentive. Dr. Alfonso Chen is a wonderful doctor, empathetic, knowledgeable, and patient; my nerves went away upon first meeting him. Thank you for the experience and your kindness.

Great Doctor Dr. Alfonso Chen brings together two conditions that are very difficult to find at the same time in a doctor:1. A scientific attitude that allows him to investigate and go beyond the patient's underlying disease, get involved and even refer his patients to others specialists outside of his area of ??expertise.Thanks to which, he was able, after 30 years, to diagnose me, refer and finally treat a condition that specialists were unable to do. 2. As a human being he is a very warm and kind person, but above all very professional.A great professional!

El doctor Alfonso Chen reúne dos condiciones muy difíciles de encontrar al mismo tiempo en un médico: 1. Una actitud científica que le permite investigar e ir más allá de la enfermedad subyacente del paciente, involucrarse e incluso, remitirlo a otros especialistas fuera de su área de experticio. Gracias a lo cual, fue capaz luego de 30 años, de diagnosticarme, referirme y finalmente tratar una condición que los especialistas no lograron. 2. Posee una calidad humana extraordinaria y un interés de ayudar que no le permite estar tranquilo hasta no encontrar la razón y solución del problema. Ambas cualidades en igual manera, pero sobretodo sabes que tu salud está en manos de un científico.

Excellent Doctor I was referred to Dr Chen by someone who was a patient of his. In my meetings with him I have always found him to be a good listener and explained my conditions to me. It took a few years to get my medications right for me. We did this by trying different medications for 2 or 3 months at a time until we found the right medications that helped me. In the beginning of my treatment I saw Dr Chen twice a week, I am now down to once every.6 weeks.I would like to add that Martha in his office has always been pleasant to deal with. She has gone out of her way to get documents to my insurance company that they requested.I recommend Dr Chen.
