List of Alisa Holland's Reviews
Horrible doctor. Negligent to the most extreme possible. Due to a malpractice suit I cannot go into great detail but please, please healthcare at another dr's office. If you do not ultimately your health will become a dangerous situation that could be irreversible. Our family has never witnessed the horrific experiences, more than just once, in our lives. We have all the documentation to backup all the treatment that was given; or should I say; That was NOT given. Don't wait till their is a problem that was not treated or delayed by this physician and staff.
Cancelled my pre-op appointment upon my arrival today. Hoping for new appointment prior to surgery date.
I've been going to this doctor's office for 10 years. It has declined so much that I am now searching for a new provider. My latest unacceptable experience just happened. I had Covid in Oct and had to reschedule my annual check up. The soonest available appointment was the first week of January, I was ok with that. Now I had to call in for a refill of a daily med that required a blood draw. I had 2 weeks of pills left. When I called in for the refill I was told the dr had to see me before she would refill it. I said ok, but the earliest appoint wasn't for two weeks and she insisted that I do the blood draw in her office on that day and woukd not let me go to Lab Corp with a script so my results would be ready on the day of my appointment. That way I could have my script filled ahead of time and not miss a dose. She wouldn't do it. Since my script is mail order I'll miss a week or more of my medication. Time to find a doctor who actually cares about their patients.

Office canceled two separate appointments with no ability to reschedule for months. Dr. had a meeting that was more important than patient care
I've been to this practice for over 10 years and was always happy with the care from the doctors, the PAs and the front desk staff until recently. Unfortunately, with the recent departure of one of the PAs it is been challenging to get an appointment in a timely manner. It recently took me 2 months to get an appointment and the Doctor/PA would not extend courtesy prescription refills without an in person visit (even though they did telehealth for 2 years due to covid). When I was finally seen by the new PA, it was one of the worst health care experiences I have ever had. Not only was the new PA extremely rude, she obviously does not care about anything except allocating no more than 5-10 minutes per patient, checking the box, billing your insurance and moving on to the next patient. Her lack of concern for my medical conditions was quite frankly shocking. I NEVER leave reviews but this was such an offensive experience I feel compelled to warn others. Sad :(
Dr Holland is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. She has been my primary care physician for 3 years and I appreciate that she takes time to discuss all issues. Her staff is friendly and helpful.
Standard question...are you taking new patients...Yes, great let's schedule an appointment...two months from now so I have one n March. 2020, ok, fine......then all this Covid stuff began. I understand there is a crisis...but as one who scheduled an appointment back in Jan/Feb, I am shocked to have my appointment cancelled THREE times, and then to be told they will not reschedule me! Aren't drs supposed to see patients...didn't she subscribe to the Drs. Oath ?? Thank God I am healthy, but why not see me....I just wanted a complete physical so that I am pro-active in my health. What is their problem? Also, there should be a "0" rating...cause I didn't get anything out of them....NOTHING!! Not even an appointment.
I have multiple health issues including FTD which is a fatal disease.Dr Holland sees me every 10 days to coordinate and update my medical issues. She has been on top of my medical issues and multiple physicians, Dr Holland is very helpful in keeping my health on the positive side of the ledger.
Dr. Holland seems very knowledge and helpful - one you get to see her. The rest of the practice is HORRIBLE; definitely geared on generating maximum income instead of on patient care . The staff should have a rating of 0, there are rude, uncaring, and nonchalant in their attitudes. They will not send electronic prescriptions even for refills, instead they make you physically come to the office. You must come to the office for an appointment to get a referral to a specialist, and then they neglect to send the referral. Appointment times are never honored and interminable waiting times are the norm. In short AVOID this practice as you will spend most of your time trying to deal with an incompetent staff!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
