List of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates Of Tampa Bay's Reviews
I have been going to this office to get shots done for about a year now while I am up at school. I often get Jose who does a great job and we always have a nice conversation. The nurses/techs that do the shots at the clinic side are all lovely people.
I always cringe when I need to see a new physician and have to explain to them what Schnitzler Syndrome is all about… Today I had a very pleasant surprise when I saw Immunologist Dr. Emma Westermann-Clark, MD. as a replacement physician… Dr. Westermann-Clark was extremely knowledgeable, asked all the right questions, was very personable and provided superb treatment… But, having been trained by now retired Dr. Roger Fox, I shouldn’t have been surprised… Dr. Fox was excellent and he obviously passed his caring attitude and vast medical knowledge onto Dr. Westermann-Clark!!!
Excellent care.
My daughter was privileged to get an appointment with Dr. Westermann- Clark. She was absolutely fantastic! My daughter has a fear of doctors and the doctor was so gentle, kind, and explained everything to her. She made her feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and did not rush through the appointment at all. We had all questions answered, it was a wonderful experience! The staff was kind and prompt with check in and check out.
I am writing this in tears. I have never had such a terrible experience with any doctor's office in my life. They humiliated and discriminated against us not once but twice. I have tried to book an appointment for my 8-year-old child. We have the state insurance based on income because we are both PhD students. We received a referral from our pediatrician to go to these doctors as we live nearby. Our child has a dog allergy and we just needed a specialist's opinion about it. When I called the first time, the receptionist asked me about insurance, and simply hang up on me when she heard it with a clear "no." I talked to our pediatrician and we decided to try again, this time offering to pay up front for any services. Their answer? No. Again. No reason offered except that they refuse to see us. They don't care about a child's wellbeing and they are not trying to help. We are not wealthy, we have a Hispanic name, so my only explanation is that they discriminate against us. Shameful and sad.
They couldn’t tell which insurance works with them. Not even one, unbelievable.
Girl on phone wouldn’t even tell me if they take my plan or not. No help at all .
We were right on time but because I didn’t have the new patient paperwork they said they couldn’t see my daughter. If the paper work is so vital to have done in advance then they could call to be sure it’s brought to the appointment. It would have taken me 10 minutes to fill out. This is terrible customer service. Terrible. We live 30 min away. I wasted time out of my work day to be turned away. Do better.
Have been a patient and getting immunotherapy shots for over 2 yrs along with my 2 girls. I like this office and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Scheduling is easy and above all they are not covid paranoid, if you want to wear a mask fine if you don't thats fine too.
They do not care about their self-pay patients because they do not make it easy to pay the bill on the spot. You must wait for a bill, then call them to have it adjusted for the self-pay rate. Sadly when you call, it isn't easy. Your only option is to leave a message, then no one ever returns the call only to have to start the calling process over again. Im sorry, but my time is my money, and I do not have time to lose client hourly sessions because you cannot make payment adjustments on the same day. You used to make payment adjustments on the same day at the Gunn Hwy location, but now I hear "it cannot be done" from a lady named Pat. People wake up. As a self-pay patient I choose to see this doctor. I could easily choose someone else, and after this last visit with Dr. Glaum, I will. It's bad enough that each time you call this office you cannot get through to anyone ever, and they NEVER return the call within 24 hours; not even 48 hours. The doctors are great, but guess what? A person, regardless of who they are, is only as good as his/her weakest link on the team Edited this review 4/19/22 as I experienced significant improvement on my most recent visit. They actually KNEW I was a self-pay patient this time, and the lady at the front desk willingly obtained the amount of my bill, and processed my payment before I left that day. She even went over and beyond and told me that I could still get a bill, but to ignore it, and if the amount differed then she apologized in advance as it could differ slightly, but most likely would not. So I increased this review rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The calling service still needs improvement as no one ever answers, and even though it says "it could take 24 hours for someone to get back to you, OR your doctor may not be in the office today so it may take longer" that is still unacceptable service to wait more than 24 hours for someone to return a call and properly address the issue with the doctor. Doctors CAN be paged and contacted.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
