Dr. Trotti saved my life. I came to him after being misdiagnosed by the VA for 3 months. I had HPV 16+ throat cancer that was stage 4. I was 53 years old at the time. I wanted to try anything rather then the standard ages old radiation and chemotherapy. I remember him looking me in the eye and saying “Do you want to live”?. He then told me he was going to bring as close to death as he could without actually killing me, then I would recover and the cancer wouldn't. I reluctantly did exactly as he instructed me too and 5 years later I feel as good as I ever have. Ive recovered 100% . Im sure without Dr. Trotti being as stern, confident and unwavering as he was I likely would have found some alternate type of treatment and be dead. The whole staff at Moffitt was awesome. Dr. Trotti is extremely intelligent and knows how to save lives.
