I’ve had 3 EEGs before I came to Tampa General for my seizures, and immediately on my first day of this test she saw even the tiniest details of what was happening to my brain. My previous doctors never noticed those abnormalities. She is super nice, caring, and explains everything very well.

Dr. Rivera-Cruz is very knowledgeable, respectful, caring, friendly, and easy to talk with. I have been seeing her as my Neurologist for several years now and have never felt rushed like I did with my previous neurologists. I enjoy that she makes it feel like we work well together for my treatment. Under Dr. Rivera-Cruz's care, I have been at Tampa General Hospital numerous times to diagnosis and treat my Epilepsy. While I am in the hospital, Dr. Rivera-Cruz stops by my room on a regular basis to discuss what has been determined through the testing, how I feel, and next steps. I know she is busy with other patients but she is never rushed during our discussions. She always welcomes as many questions as I and my wife have needed to be answered. She's the only neurologist who allows me to describe my epilepsy condition/symptoms and includes me in the decisions on how best to move forward with a treatment plan that works for me, controls my seizures, and looks at my overall health. If you need a top neurologist please schedule your appointment with Dr. Angelica Rivera-Cruz, you will be glad that you did. She is part of USF Health and works through Tampa General Hospital.

I have been seeing Dr. Rivera for my seizure condition & she is the best . She has changed my life and made me feel less stressed about my seizure condition. This dr. Listens to all your concerns and explains everything in detail. She has great communication & you can message her directly through the app.she responds quickly and addresses any concern you have . This Dr. Has done more for me then any other dr. I was seeing for my medical condition. I wish I found this dr. Sooner. I would recommend this dr to anyone. Thank you Dr. Rivera.
