Horrible man!! He obviously hates women and is in the wrong profession. Rude, condescending and not helpful at all. He called me a fat pig and told me to lose 50 lbs THEN come back to see him!! Who treats patients like this??

Had surgery in January 2015 - 3 days in and out - he admitted to cutting an artery to my left leg but did not admit to hacking up my bowel until a week later I ended up in intensive care. Here it is February 2016 and I am just now able to have the colostomy reversed that was needed after "Edward Scissorhand" go t down with me. Thank you to the caring doctors who finally over-rode him and literally saved my life

I had cancer. I should have died because I neglected symptoms I should have paid attention to. By the time I came to Dr. Messina, 2 other doctors had written me off as terminal. I was told that if I had any chance of surviving, Messina was the doctor I should see. I took that advice and after several surgeries I'm still here three years later, enjoying Life and so grateful for Dr. Messina's surgical skills and his determination to help me get through this.

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Uncaring, rude, full of himself and he told me that I was a "Fat Pig" that needed to lose 50 lbs and don't come back until I do.....Like I'd ever go see this jerk again??

Dr. Anthony Messina is a wonderful physician. I am appalled by some of these negative reviews. I have been his patient for over 20 years and have not once witnessed any unprofessional behavior from Dr. Messina. I was referred to him when I had cancer and he scheduled me right away and offered all options, He basically saved my life. I also have a friend who Dr. Messina did lifesaving emergency surgery on after childbirth. And most recently he did a hysterectomy on my relative who greatly needed the procedure after seeing a quack doctor for many years who did not believe she needed one, even though she was in pain and had continued uterine bleeding that was not normal for her age. His assistant Denise is also great. His office is not brand new and why yes he does have a great sense of humor. The only improvements possibly needed could be to his office staff as one of them can be rude at times. The radio is on an oldies station and is not to loud. All I can say to those who gave bad reviews is "Bless their hearts".

I wanted to know for myself if this Doctor had ever been involved in a Malpractice Case. After thorough research I know he has not. It's a shame people don't get their facts straight before giving negative reviews.
