Dr. Etame took his time to explain my brain tumor and all the details of my pending surgery in terms my husband and I could understand. I found him to be caring , kind and compassionate. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!!! Glad I found him!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the most amazing doctor ever. I have been in the medical field for 40 years and I have the ability to know when a doctor really cares for his patients and Dr Etame is that kind of a doctor. He immediately instilled confidence in his abilities treated both me and my husband with the upmost respect. and proved hi expertise. I feel I was treated by an expert who is also a compassionate individual. 5 stars is not enough 5 million is more like it

Fantastic surgeon and doctor. Dr. Etame spent all the time we needed explaining his diagnosis and recommended procedure. He put us at ease and made us comfortable with surgery. He is compassionate and thorough with his approach. Most importantly he treated us as people and not as subjects. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Etame is fantastic. He thoroughly explained his diagnosis and course of treatment. He took all the time we needed to answer our questions and to make us comfortable. He treated us as people and not as subjects. He performed the surgery and explained and showed in simple terms how the procedure had gone. He followed up in the hospital and we have been extremely pleased with the results. We would highly recommend him. He is compassionate and caring.

Dr. Etame is an incredibly gifted neurosurgeon. As a plus he has warmth and is very personable. He somehow made neurosurgery less scary as his calming demeanor gave us confidence and peace during a very difficult frightening time.

I KNEW in my spirit that Dr. Etame was an Amazing Smart Doctor just like the Doctor in the Will Smith Movie “Concussion”.Dr. Etame went to College at State U. Of New York New Paltz.Medical Degree from U. Of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.Ph.D. from U. Of Toronto.Research Fellowship in neurosurgical oncology Labatt Brain Tumour Research CenterThe Hospital for sick children in Toronto.Neurosurgery residency with U. Of Michigan Health SystemAssistant professorship in oncology U.Of South FloridaMoffitt Cancer Center attending Neurosurgeon Staff ScientistAnd yet with ALL this knowledge Dr. Etame is approachable easy to talk to and calming. Especially when he told me that I wouldn’t need surgery My stage 4 breast cancer breast brain bone liver is responding well to the infusions chemotherapy being one of the 3 drips I am hooked up to. The Neuro Specialists work together as a TEAM with the Breast Specialists to discuss my case ALL my records they can ALL review and I LOVE thatFROM PAULA GIRVEN...I AM HAPPY with the excellent care I am receiving

Dr. Etame preformed an awake craniotomy to successfully remove the entirety of my brain tumor. Because of his expertise and precision, I have come out of recovery without a single deficit- even though the tumor was located in a part of my brain heavily involved with motor skills. I truly believe that I had the best care and surgeon that I could have possibly had on my side during such a difficult time. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Etame and his team.
