Charles BARRY Craythorne's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Craythorne has been one of the best doctors on my healthcare team! I saw doctor after doctor complaining of hip pain for almost 2 years, each time I was told there was nothing wrong and they couldn’t help me. Eventually, another doctor recommended Dr. Craythorne to me. His office was able to set up an appointment in a quick amount of time and their communication with me has been outstanding. Not only that, but Dr. Craythorne was able to not only diagnose but surgically treat my hip pain! It has been almost 2 months since I had my surgery and I am so happy to report that my hip is doing substantially better! He set me up to see the physical therapist located in the same building and it has been wonderful to have my whole team in one place. I feel heard and cared about as a patient, not only by him but by his entire staff. Dr. Craythorne has accomplished what many other specialists in the area could not, and I am incredibly grateful.

I had a left rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Craythorne last year and now after I’m done with therapy and recovery, I can say that Dr. Craythorne is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon in Tampa. I can use my left shoulder like never before and I can sleep without pain. I think he is great and I recommend him to anyone in the Tampa area or even coming from anywhere from Florida or outside Florida.

This Doc is a perfect example of a really smart guy who thoroughly cares about people, not only his patients. Very connected and trust anyone he referred me to without question. Great doc!

Do not waste your time with Dr. Craythorne. He might do well for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he definitely will not invest the time and attention needed to address your health condition. He was an hour late for my appointment. In addition, he had not even read the operative report that I provided to him a month prior to the appointment. During my appointment, Dr. Craythorne simply referred me to other Doctors with the Florida Orthopedic Institute that have more experience with full joint replacements. This is a task he could have done by phone two months ago instead of booking and billing for the appointment. Dr. Craythorne is more interested in having his picture taken with NFL and College Football players than he is in your recovery, preparing for your appointment and ensuring that you are on a solid treatment plan.

Phenomenal doctor! I was worried about getting hip surgery in my 20s but Dr Craythorne did such an amazing job. His bedside manner is amazing, he is very detailed, listens to all concerns and explains everything. Sometimes you wait past your appointment time but only because he spends time listening to your questions and concerns. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my surgery!

I have no clue how good Dr Craythorn is, but his staff answering the phone is frustrating. Sounds like I'll miss out on a great surgeon.

I can’t recommend Dr Craythorne high enough . I’ve had two knee replacements and one hip…all done to complete perfection. He is not . only truly professionally qualified but is a man of character that I greatly admire. He and his staff are always there for you. Frank Shideler

Dr. Craythrone is the BEST!! Lots of years of practice under his belt. Explains everything very thoroughly and is just the sweetest doctors. They just don't make doctors like him anymore. The staff is wonderful too! Sincerely, ❤🌞 Mari Beth

My family and I have been seeing Barry over the last 30 years. He has done a great job for us all these years and very patiently explains your condition and treatment options. He is great.
