In just a few months time, I have gone from having severe back and nerve pain to being pain free. Dr GP is a gifted surgeon. I have had zero complications and am able to do just about anything I want to do.. I am grateful to have had such good care by him and his staff..

Dr.Gonzales-Portillo is the BEST!! I had spinal fusion surgery a few weeks ago and went in for my follow-up and everything is healing nicely! Would highly recommend him and his expertise!!

Don't ever tell a patient that she's fat old and has arthritis I knew all these things but the bulging disc lying on my sciatic nerve is real don't worry doc I won't always be fat old yes and I will get my back fixed sorry I took up so much of your

Dr Gabriel Gonzalez-Portillo is the angel I found in my life. Been around 14 years of pain and injections and physical therapy, around 6 orthopedist and nothing work. my life was miserable and everybody wants me to lose weigh before the nothing. How to walk or exercise when I cant either put shoes on. When I met Doctor Gonzalez Portello I knew he will do something great. My surgery was April 14, 2023 and after a month of I can walk and do a lot stuff the I cant before. I'm very happy with the end. You are the best and the people on your office they are good too.

Our entire family is extremely grateful for what Dr. Gonzales-Portillo's has done for Mom in April 2023 - his expert care and intervention saved Mom's life and hugely impacted ours'. His reputation preceded him and our experience confirms it, as aside from his life-saving skillset, he has been very professional yet very approachable, and Mom praises him every chance she gets. We were also positively impressed and re-assured by his confidence - evident in his communication, behavior and demeanor overall - and fully supported by the amazing results of the surgery he performed on Mom. We should also add thanks to his wonderful team! Amy, his PA, has been truly fantastic. Esmeralda, the RN with whom we had direct interaction, has been so efficient and kind. Lulu, at the front desk (with whom we've had the most interaction) has been very professional and helpful. We have nothing but heart-felt thanks for this amazing team of professionals and would absolutely recommend their care without hesitation - even more so when paired with the superior and compassionate services of the BayCare Hospitals, which we would be remiss not to mention here as well.
