I am celebrating one year anniversary from my lung cancer surgery. My deepest gratitude to my surgeon, Dr. Fontaine, for his excellent skill both in the preop evaluation, and in the operation room. I underwent robotic chest surgery for the removal of a cancerous nodule together with the tip of my right lung, all flawlessly executed. I had a rapid and complete recovery under close guidance and support of Dr. Fontaine and his assistants. I couldn’t be more effusive in recommending him and his well tuned team for robotic chest surgery at Moffitt.

On august 4, 2021 Tina received a cancer diagnosis. When a local chest surgeon could not help, GOD put Dr. Fontaine and the Moffitt Cancer Center in our lives. As we arrived his staff made us feel as if we were there ONLY patients. Dr. Fontaine has gifted hands and a SUPERNATURAL ability and Tina is Cancer Free !!!!! Dr. Fontaine and this team are truly amazing! They saved my life and I couldn't thank them enough. I felt comfortable the very first time I meet the doctor. They did such a great job on my surgery and removed my tumor which was attached to my lung and heart, he was able to remove the whole tumor in one piece and I didn't need any further treatment. He's very passionate in what he does he cares and takes his time. On a scale 1-10 I give him 100!

Dr. Fontaine is the doctor who performed a biopsy for me last week. He is knowledgeable, experienced and caring. The whole process was painless, and my surgery incision recovered very well. From day one when I visited him for diagnosis, I knew I found a great doctor with extensive practice in treating lung cancer. In less than a few days, I got an accurate diagnosis and will start treatment soon. Moffitt is a great place for cancer patients, because they have top notch doctors who care, along with the nurses and staff, the hospital culture is amazing!!! Thanks Dr. Fontaine!

my wife first vist to dr fontaine , went thur her options for up coming lung cancer diagnosis , he will be doing a segmentectomy to her left lung , and feels all the cancer will be removed , were both putting our trust in him , and expect a good outcome , so with gods help and dr fontaine , we can move back on with our lives thank you

As a lifelong writer/editor, I am having a hard time putting into words how I feel about the experience I had with Dr. Fontaine and Moffitt Cancer Center. How do you describe your feelings about someone who has literally saved your life and does the same for others day after day? I do know I am full of gratitude for Dr. Fontaine and his team and I pray he has many more years to practice his superior skills and caring ways for the benefit of many others!

Two years ago today Jim stepped into Moffitt Cancer Hospital to undergo an 8 hour surgery. The team at Moffitt treated us like family. We spent 21 days with a wonderful team of Nurses and Doctors getting him ready to go home. Dr.Fontaine his surgeon is a miracle worker and gave us 18 more months we did not think we would have. This surgery came after months of chemo and radiation with Dr Kumar’s wonderful team. The nurses and doctors that work with Cancer patients are very special caring people.
