I would recommend Dr. James Norman to anyone with parathyroid disease. My experience was one of professionalism, compassion and information. From start to finish each person whether Dr. or staff was excellent. Dr. Norman has a special God-given gift and it is evident in how he relates to his patients, does his surgery and follows up afterwards. I am grateful that I was able to get from Ohio to Florida for him to do my surgery. It is changing my life and I will be sharing about it with anyone who will listen! His sense of humor just puts icing on the cake.

I was first introduced to Dr. Norman when I learned I had parathyroid problems. I did not know what parathyroids were at that point. So I went on the net to learn about parathyroidism. That was my introduction to Dr. Norman The word that describes my learning from all the information that Dr. Norman has shared on the net is "gift". As I read his excellent information, shared with us who needed the knowledge, I was both impressed and thankful that I could get information and know what was causing some of the symptoms I was experiencing. When I finally decided that I needed to go to Tampa and get the surgery I needed (could not find it in Canada) I was delighted to find it would be Dr. Norman that would be the surgeon. I appreciated his telling me that I had experienced very little help with my health issues and his desire to teach re how to so easily rectify the parathyroid issue. I also appreciated his caring manner and his sense of humour, as well as his deep desire to teach and show how simply parathyroidism can be cured. I am just one week into having the surgery....how many times this week I have felt the joy for Dr. Norman, his desire to make life easier and so much better for us. For me that is a beautiful and caring gift that I will always appreciate. Deep thanks Dr. Norman.

I decided after finding Dr. Norman on the internet, to travel from the UK to the US for my parathyroid operation. Dr. Norman is a gifted and confident surgeon and I was not disappointed with his treatment.Without his expertise I would still be suffering many symptons due to the tumour.

I had parathyroid surgery with Dr. Norman and Dr. Politz and could not be happier with the process and the results. They and their co-workers were extremely professional and friendly, and I felt I was in good hands. I am very happy with the outcome and wish I had had the surgery sooner. I feel a lot better.

I am a 57 year old female. Dr. Norman diagnosed my PTH disease after my non-typical symptoms were ignored by a specialist for over a year. Although I did not meet Dr. Norman until the day of surgery, his availability to speak with me on the phone and through e-mail as well as being able to communicate with his excellent office staff, gave me confidence. I am from St. Louis and I did not find any local surgeons with even a portion of his expertise. How can anyone measure up to Dr. Norman's experience considering he has performed over 10,000 parathyroid surgeries using the radio guided miminally invasive techniques that he invented? During surgery, each of my parathyroid glands was checked, and a double adenoma was found. I am so thankful that I was able to go to Tampa to have a brief 22 minute surgery and to be cured by this talented, caring man.

HAD PARATHYROID SURGERY ON OCT 19,2010 ,AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS BETTER THEN WE EVER EXPECTED.FROM THE TIME WE ORIGINALLY STARTED WITH THE SCHEDULING TO THE FINAL PHONE CALL WITH THE DOCTOR TO CONFIRM HOW WELL THE SURGERY WENT IT WAS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND PLESENT EXPERIENCE I COULD HAVE EXPECTED.

It may seem strange to say that having surgery is a great experience, but in truth having your parathyroid removed by Dr. Norman is really wonderful. Everything about the Parathyroid Center is professional and caring and the change in my health amazing.

Dr. Norman has cured me of a disease that five doctors in four cities were unable to properly address. They merely observed me for over 10 years, while my symptoms got worse. One of my symptoms was breast cancer, and I had a bilateral mastectomy. I finally found a doctor who referred me to Dr. Norman, and I was cured in an operation that lasted 19 minutes. Thank you!
