This doctor is amazing! I am a nurse at Advent Health Tampa. I went to see a patient to teach her about diabetes. Dr Rothschild was with the patient. I waited my turn outside the room. I could hear everything he was saying to the patient regarding her kidney failure. I waited over 30 minutes as he took his time and explained everything to her in a way she would understand. She was scared. He calmed her nerves. If she didn’t understand, he spoke in terms of “sponges so soaked with water…” breaking down everything into terminology that made sense to her. I could have gone to see another patient. I didn’t because 1. What doctor takes that kind of time in a hospital explaining things to a patient and 2. I was learning just as she was learning. Amazing, intelligent, kind physician.

I am a 23 year cancer survivor who sees multiple specialists bc of the residual effects of the Phase 1 clinical trial that cured my leukemia. I researched Dr. Rothschild before seeing him almost 2 yrs ago and he has never disappointed. He's always been a straight shooter without ever being rude or condescending. He always listens to what I have to say and answer any questions I might have regardless. I would most definitely recommend him.

He exceeded my expectations and is a stellar doctor. Kind, thorough and extremely knowledgable. You will love him! Highly recommend.

Dr Rothschild saw me as a consultant after my admission due to a kidney injury, possibly from having COVID. He was very thorough with my evaluation, he really took the time to listen to my history and my current issues and formulate a plan of care for me. I had other consultants that came and went but Dr Rothschild came back three times and continued to research my problem. He determined I had a parathyroid issue that needed surgery to correct many of the issues from which I was suffering. After my release I followed his plan, had surgery and I’m on the road to recovery, feeling better than I have in years. My kidney function has improved a bit but I feel I am continuing to improve each day. Future labs will be drawn in a month. I feel Dr a Rothschild was/is instrumental in my healing. He is kind, listens, he explains and takes the time to research. I highly recommend him. His follow up and aftercare is complete, his office staff is very professional.

The most important aspect was he listens. He took my history and look at the whole picture and found another contributing issue to my illness. He kept coming back to investigate more information and came up with a diagnosis that I am currently following up on. He went above and beyond he made me feel better by providing information that has helped me move forward. Again , he listened, he spent time with me and he researched what I told him. I highly recommend him.

In April 2020 my blood test came back showing that I had 4th stage of Kidney Failure. My primary referred me to Dr Jason Rothschild. My primary got me an appointment for the very next day. Dr Rothschild sent me to get blood work to find out exactly why my Kidneys were failing, he kept doing testing and he determined that my kidney failure was a symptom of another cause. Within a short time he knew that I had Multiple Myeloma _ Kappa Light Chain. He made me an appointment with a Blood Doctor for the next day. I still see Dr Rothschild every three months, so he can keep an eye on my Kidneys. My kidneys are almost back to normal. Dr Rothschild is a very good doctor with good patient services. He spent time explaining everything to me. He helped save my life, I would recommend him greatly.

I felt an immediate rapport with Dr. Rothschild. He did a wonderful job of fully explaining my condition and allaying my fears. The staff are really accommodating and helpful. I couldn't recommend Dr. Rothschild more highly.

Dr. Rothschild is very personable, knowledgeable and really makes sure that you have the best care possible! He answered all of my questions and concerns by looking over charts before and explaining every detail! Highly Recommend!!
