Jay Parekh Md's Online Review Report Card

After years of back pain spanning from cervical to sacrum, and even more intense pain the last several months, I was fortunate to receive a recommendation from a friend who also used Dr. Parekh and was thrilled with him. Dr. Parekh not only diagnosed my problem, but by one procedure he was able to reduce my back pain almost 90%. I have now been able to play with my young kids more and even went indoor skydiving (later to learn it would be against Doctor’s advice), something which I would never have fathomed the last few years. Dr. Parekh is very personable, and I felt extremely comfortable, in great hands, and well informed. I would highly recommend Dr. Parekh to anyone who has back pain and does not know what to do next. Treating with him changed my life!

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with my visit with Dr. Parekh, and to say I was nervous is an understatement. I was in excruciating pain. Dr Parekh was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining to me what my options were, what he recommended and why. Throughout the treatment process Dr Parekh and his assistant, George, made me feel extremely comfortable and perfectly explained every step of the process in real time. The attention I received post-procedure was more than expected...I was followed up with the same day. Overall, I was very pleased with the bedside manner and professionalism of Dr Parekh and his entire staff.

Following an auto accident I was seen by Dr. Parekh and his staff for awhile - until they found what really helped me. I never felt they were tired of me, they didn't give up when I felt I wanted to. I'm very grateful to Dr. Parekh and his staff.

Dr. Parekh is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was extremely attentive and understanding. His staff was so friendly and helpful during my visit. Most importantly, he helped me get out of pain and back onto my feet quickly!!

I recently had a decompression procedure done for my herniated disc and neuroplasty for the nerve done by Dr. Parekh. Prior to the surgery I was in pain constantly and the pin radiated down my arm, after I woke up I felt the difference immediately. Highly recommend this procedure! Was minimally invasive and effective.

This Dr. Is rude and obnoxious. My appointment was screwed up by his staff I was made to wait over an hour, because he overbooked patients. When he finally appeared he was rude to me, I was a new patient, you would think thier beside manner would be courteous. This is a buisness this Dr. Seems overwhelmed. His bedside manner should match his skill level. I will not ever return. Successful Dr.s are Dr.s who can relate to thier patients and not be rude. A reminder patients are the dollars in your pocket. You can learn excellent patient care from Tampa pain relief center, they are the best in pain managtement reatment and they have the best bedside manner

After seeing an Orthopedic for hip pain and a very painful injection that did not work, I was told a hip replacement was the only option left. I decided to get a second opinion and went to see Dr. Parekh. After a thorough examination, Dr. Parekh gave me two pinpoint injections. Unlike my first injection, the two injections Dr. Parekh did were tolerable and worked. I must say it is refreshing to have a professional like Dr. Parekh to work for you and sincerely be concerned about your pain. The personal phone call he made to me to see how I was doing was icing on the cake. I highly recommend Dr. Parekh before you undergo an invasive surgery.

Dr. Parekh has a great bedside manner.
