I started seeing Dr. Williams through a clinical MS study years ago. This past visit was closing out the study but he advised I have a freckle on my retina which needs monitoring. His staff was so helpful in scheduling me for a follow up even though I'm done with the study.

Dr. Williams explained thoroughly the status of my eyes problem. The assistant name Terrel has an excellent customer service. Letting me know every details he's about to do regarding the process of my examination. Excellent facility. Front desk staff are really nice too.

My experience was very positive! Dr Williams and his assistant made me feel very comfortablel They both explained things in a manner that I easily understood.

They overbook patients, they tell you they’re running 30 mins behind, when in reality you’ll be there forever. 2 hours later you’re still not seen. I had to walk out, no respect for patients time. Office staff is rude, they rather talk about schedule changes and why they don’t want to come to work that day. As you’re standing there waiting for them to finish. Once they’re done having their side conversation they turn around and act like you’re bothering them. Go somewhere else where your time and yourself are treated with respect. If I could give it 0 stars I would but I can’t.

Went to him for 5 years. Doesn’t communicate well. Didn’t diagnosis my severe dry eyes. Since taken over by West cataract in Largo the place has gone downhill. Would not recommend. Have since found a wonderful Dr. in Brandon.

Typical annual appointment - reception/staff/doctor all very nice, happy and accommodating. I have been seeing The Eye Institute of West Florida for years and live much closer to other doctors that I could go to but trust The Eye Institute of West Florida for annual visits, emergency eye care and down the road if needed cataract surgery. I hope they bring back the eye glass shop at the Howard Ave office soon!!!!!
